A more traumatic loss...

I live in the bay area, so I thought that was who this article was going to be about.

We sell travel mugs where I work. They are always missing the lids. WHO IS TAKING THE LIDS? ...and why?

Just Googled lava-lava.

Ghosts that do ironic things to mock our ideas about what can protect us from them are a special kind of scary.

"COME ON IN HEEERRREE."

I remember one year this thread had bunch of doppelganger stories and the majority of them seemed to take place in dorms. So weird.

My mom would forget to pick me up from various activities and sometimes even school. Just thought I'd say I know that feel.

Love a little history lesson with my scare! Thanks for sharing!

I find stories that include strange dark masses, that seem to be intelligent, to be especially creep in a unique way. Maybe it's because humanoid spirits could just be unfortunate lost souls, but those strange masses, those seem evil.

My friend and I came across a super old rusty car in the jungle in Kauai. So cool and weird. I'll never forget it.

It happens to me when I'm out of practice with lucid dreaming, like when I still experience semi-lucidity on a nightly basis. I keep telling myself I just need to get into practice of lucid dreaming and build up my skills to the point where I can free myself from paralysis, but instead I have gotten even more out of

Okay...I don't want to insult your mom, but I kinda wanna say EFF HER for telling you that. Even if she really believed that, she should have been a good parent and FUCKING LIED and said "everything will be okay."

I experience sleep paralysis VERY similar to what you described. Luckily, my experiences have never turned demonic, as they do for many people. I have the same experience of trying to leave my bed, but I usually can't. If I can, I drag myself along the floor as you described. Sometimes I manage to leave me room, but

My mom was raised by her grandmother, who took her to a curandera at one point. She (curandera) did something with like waving an egg over her body and when the egg was cracked open, there was black stuff inside, which was supposedly the illness that had been drawn out.

"Vamanos, children!"

That movie!...This gif!!

While the goat man terrifies me deep in my soul, I am intrigued by the mock-Jesus. Was your up-bringing at all religious? Also, the goat man and hooded figure experiences sound a lot like sleep paralysis. I'm not saying it wasn't paranormal. I feel like paranormal/bad stuff can maybe induce sleep paralysis.
I was

"not particularly woo-woo" :) good story
