It’s my nieces’ and nephews’ favorite part about growing up on military bases.

Being black in America is the toughest shit there is.

All she has to do is win. If she keeps her head down and wins, the suspension cloud will mostly fade away. Seems like her managers screwed up with releasing a video like this. Caveat: If it has a bikini top falling off or some alone time in the shower, then I’m on board.

Reasonable for an overweight, casual player, in his 70s, who probably hasn’t played in a long time and doesn’t do other exercise that might at least keep him flexible, in his socks, in a suit and tie, in front of a crowd, impromptu.

Honestly, for a casual, overweight player past his prime, Trump’s form is not bad.

The appropriateness of the F-16 pilot’s actions partly depends on whether he knew the Russian plane was carrying a politician.

I bet you’re right that planes carrying diplomatic personnel/politicians are treated differently. It would make sense, since intercepting a plane is ostensibly an act of caution, and a plane with a diplomat/politician can reasonably be treated with kid gloves from a greater distance.

Well, see, there’s your problem right there.

Hundreds of millions of small arms in civilian hands. For centuries. And how many times has this happened? Yeah.

God, how pathetic has this media network become when a gif without even a word gets more likes than the reasonable, polite comment to which it’s ‘responding’.

I am forming this impression that, after a generation of all-time greats with fantastic sportsmanship, we are headed for a generation of bickering brats like Kyrgios, etc. I suppose if it goes like the McEnroe/Connors/Nastase era, it could be fun. Not the shorts, please.

This looks like a situation where both sides are wrong. Trump should avoid making big proclamations about technical matters, leaving it to the appropriate staff. And, on the other side, Ballaban’s contempt for Trump - on all things unrelated to this issue - just drips from every sentence, which blows.

Where did he say, “All ethnicity”? He didn’t

I have no idea what that guy wrote. But if it warrants a response from you, then ... respond to him. Don’t do the ‘respond to yourself’ trick. If you decide he should be responded to, own it. Otherwise ignore him.

Quite right. This was not a mere “symbolic” move. It was a *political* move. And a good one:

It is when you’re trying to scrape together material to bash a successful minor operation because Trump ordered it.

Quite a headline. Seriously, learn the power of “Some.” Many veterans are quite appreciative of Trump having the widow there.

Yes, he did. The all court players with near perfect strokes seem to prefer those traditional racquets.

True. If you watch the clip closely, he only actually takes the ball on the rise on two shots - and one of them was defensive because the return came really deep. So only one time did he choose to hit the ball on the rise.

The racquets with small sweet spots tend to be simpler, old school designs. They bring better control, not more power.
