The reality is, many, many people use AR15s for hunting. I’m not sure where you get the idea that just because someone’s using an AR15, they’re mag-dumping at game animals. Can you back that spurious claim up with some evidence, or do you just enjoy insulting hunters?

The chance of you ever being in a shooting, let alone a mass shooting, is just as small. You’re more likely to die from constipation than a mass shooters bullet.

THAT also needs to be figured before restricting the rights of others who have and never will commit the crimes that you fear so much.

The AR15 is also more easily suppressed to reduce the likelihood of hearing damage from firing it indoors. It also has a range of ammunition designed for just such use.

Very difficult to do that effectively with a shotgun.

Er, no. That’s not correct. It is in fact the *shotgun* that’s more prone to overpenetration, because there is no effective way to have the projectile shaped to expand on impact.

To say that the handgun is somehow “less deadly” than the rifle in a mass shooting context is to really not understand the issue.

If I need to be versed in the correct understanding of cis-normative gender and race intersectionality before my comments on modern gender and race relations are taken seriously, then it’s not too much to ask those who support gun control to at least have even a *basic* understanding of what they’re prattling on about.

Which is it, “useless”, or a “deadly weapon of war”? Because sooner or later, gun control supporters are going to have to settle on a cogent argument to make about the AR15, and not “it’s too deadly” followed by “you don’t need one, it’s so unreliable!”

The NRA of the 1960's and 1970's is LONG gone, and good riddance. The NRA agrees with most modern gun owners because the NRA *listens to them*. They poll their members yearly on these questions. Those members vote on the NRA Board of Directors.

It’s a good start, but there are still some glaring errors. For example, there’s no such thing as a “strawman” purchase; it’s a STRAW purchase.

This is the funniest thing I’ve read all day, thanks!
