The Kia K5 is a REALLY nice car for under $25k. I’ve gotten a couple stripper versions as rental cars and I was astounded at how nice they were. If someone had told me the versions I was driving cost $35k I would have said that’s a fair price, looked them up and it was $25-26k. Couldn’t believe it.

Hey you... you suck.

Well said.

Sticker price on my 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Reserve (one step below the top-of-the-line Signature) was $32K. Has all the bells and whistles of the Sonata (other than a standard-size vs. panoramic sunroof), plus the zesty 2.5 liter turbo. And while I realize looks are subjective, I think the Mazda is by far the

He’s fine.  Nothing special.  And the less said about his “music”, the better.  Chase’s assessment isn’t wrong.

Hell, just understanding what the help is talking about is harder than 90% of the work I have to do.

To me the best show even quasi-linked to Cars recently is Clarkson’s Farm. It’s got the typical “let’s watch Clarkson screw things up” thing that made Top Gear so good for so long. But it’s more than just watching an aging guy take a shot to the plums from an upset sheep.

Yeah, the difference from 2002 to 2006 Top Gear is really evident. They went from a car show that was entertaining to an entertainment show with cars. It was a global phenomenon, and rightly so, but I only ended up watching the lap tests and cheap car challenges. Everything else was just fluff.

Anything where the characters wear flat-brim hats.

I was an editor on this series on and off for a few seasons. It was very challenging. Everyone thinks that TGUK just naturally sprung up like that, with the incredible chemistry between the hosts. Andy Wilman and crew played with the hosts and format for literally years before he hit the right formula. And here we

In my head, Discovery Channel’s “Street Outlaws” and “Fastest Cars Of The Dirty South” are the same show. One that I’ve never watched beyond a few minutes a couple times when I’ve been slow to change the channel. Stupid, noisy, chaotic...did I say stupid?
If a barbed-wire tattoo on a flabby white bicep were a TV show,

FLATS FLATS FLATS FLATS CAPITAL LETTERS FLATS FLATS!!!!

Jeff should have thought about that before making his big boaty boat.

Now I regret not buying said shirt when I saw them back then...

Drove thousands of miles using it in a new 4Runner last year. It is fantastic. I also had it on a Toyota sub compact rental and it worked great (I was surprised such a stripped down model/trim had it).

Yep. And in regard to lane keep, it sounds like it’s working perfectly for the selected poster, since it kicks in at the apex of turns. They just don’t like it, which, fair.

agreed, adaptive cruise from Tucson to LA is just about the easiest 7 hour drive I’ve ever done.

That’s why I also have a crank start car. Stupid Ben Franklin.

I am celebrating with BEEEEEEEER?!
