I would love to see the cops do this: after the takeover happens, cops surround and block in all participants, then call in an army of tow trucks. Then make a “terribly inconvenient” series of “paperwork mistakes” that extend the time in impound.

I’m not the biggest fan of cops using tear gas willy nilly, but this seems to be a very good time to break it out. Block off the surrounding intersections, and move in.

In Minneapolis this was classified as “mostly peaceful protesting.”

Just because it’s what you’d expect an employer to do doesn’t mean it’s not newsworthy. Sure, it’s cool if you want to be all blasé about, have fun. But are you saying it shouldn’t be reported on? That only helps the employer.
