This is why roll cages are mandated for pretty much all forms of racing.

The red flag should have come out the second those two cars were stuck on the outside collision course of that turn. Disgraceful to see that many cars piling up there under yellow.

I guess this is a good enough time to post this again.

I used to hate Bernie for generally being such a douche in addition to mandating a lot of stupid policies and rule changes in F1, but I'm actually starting to appreciate the fact that he gives ZERO fucks. I think we should all aspire to such high levels of zero-fucks-given-ness.

what you are failing to grok here is that they are talking about experimental software. when you add a feature and start testing it, you find bugs. bugs in this case equals disengagement. you then go back to the lab, analyze the bug, fix it and re-test.

I'm with Google on this one (mostly) in that during development

Why is Salvador Dali designing cars?

Am I the only one who thinks these things are not THAT good looking? And I thought most hyper cars you were chosen to be able to purchase one, not just for the people who could afford it?

Man, this is some incredible footage. I'm really looking forward to this weekends race at Spa. It's a track that still seems to separate those who have it and those who don't. I wonder if they'll be able to go through Eau Rouge flat out anymore, or if the lack of rear downforce will make that impossible..

His father Jos was famous for two things:

Small secrets revealed: The Maserati Indy had the same driveline and basic suspension as the Ghibli, two more seats, looks even better to these eyes, and sells for a good bit less.

Personally, I've always believed Pagani exists because a wealthy man once said, "I guess these supercars are good...but they're just not as fucking crazy as they could be."

Now that's a GRILL ! This car just exudes subdued classiness.

This reminds me of the time a few years ago when someone offered to sell my father a used custom Bentley Flying Spur with a sparkling purple exterior and fully pink interior for about $15-20k less than those cars were going for at that time. For a moment we thought "it is a w12 Bentley and it even the four-seat

"He must not be carrying any bread back there!"

Anything Grado.

As someone who has built a few neural networks for a living I disagree with, "Humans can also use intelligent prediction to make much more educated guesses with an innate confidence level, which is still not simple to do without a supercomputer." Humans have been shown to be extremely bad at estimating probabilities

Yup. And it's one of the reasons I'm in favor of self-driving cars for the people that don't care about driving. Unfortunately, those are the same people that have consistently shunned mass and public transit. Autonomous vehicles might be the best solution for people that don't want to give up their personal space.

Peugeot 406 coupe, obviously. French engineering, Italian design and built in an Italian (Pininfarina) factory, FWD, optional diesel. It's got everything you need.

It even works on American cars! A good green is a great color.

Brown. It's making a comeback in some models. But I think it's greatly underused. Unfortunately it really is hit or miss. On large SUVs it looks terrible. But on some cars it can be pulled off really well.
