It's pretty much taken as read that the whole Donnington fiasco (my local track) was entirely a bargaining move by Bernie to make BDRC stump up the cash for the improvements to Silverstone. Donnington went bust & had to be rescued, not before the track was partially torn up to make the changes.

As an enthusiastic holder of minority opinions I'd have to go for this.

Me too, the MC both looks and in that indefinable Italian way, feels better than the Enzo.

What is it with malls? They date so badly. They can't be cheap to put up, you'd think just a few $ could be spared for a decent architect?

From an engineering standpoint it's much easier to build a coupe out of a drop-top than vice versa. Jaguar aren't flush with development cash, so this would make sense from a costs perspective. I also suspect that they're targeting the biggest market which to smaller cars will be drop-tops.
