Indeed, love the slideyness of pre uber-aero-era F1.

No one at Le Mans watches the race! Plus it wouldn't be the same without some mentalist in Camping Blu, who brings a V8 strapped to a pallet and revs it all night.
I was hoping someone would post that! :)
AMG seem to be able to whack 2 turbos on their engine and not have this problem, what went wrong at BMW-M? I can understand why normal 5 series drivers would want a quiet refined ride, but given the astronomical price you'd have thought the M division guys could have done something with the intake/exhaust setup.…
They would all follow a 3-syllable pattern, the choices would be twangy midlands for the Coventy factory or more northern option for William Lyons, who hailed from Blackpool.
Please! It's said 'Jag-You-Are' not 'Jag-yaw', yours, the UK.
This is Fluke Motorsport's bonkers WR1C Yamaha R1 engined Westfield competing in the 05 (I think, memory a bit dusty now!) Rally Carnival of Barbados.
It's frustrating sometimes, but if they weren't crazy egomaniacs, would they produce such good cars?
Victory By Design is hands down the best motoring series ever made. Alain's style is what makes it, when he suggests that if you, the viewer, ever get a chance to drive some ultra-rare $million car you should.
Hovercraft racing seems to be all oppo all the time. I approve.
Wouldn't surprise me, over here in Yurp, missing either plate is a quick way to get pulled over.
Tiff is the man, he's no2 on my presenters list, just after than great Alain de Cadenet & just ahead of HarrisMonkey. Clarkson who? :)
Can some eccentric chap please buy one of the prototypes and finish the turbine power train!
The entire film is worth it just for this exchange :)
Mercedes seem to be pretty good at their inventory management, when I ordered my new car earlier this year it hadn't even been built and was delivered to the UK in under 3 weeks.
Concurrence. Audi actually make the A7 look good, the BWM GTs are so horribly out of proportion I'm shocked the designs were ever signed off. The A7 also has an incredibly good interior.
Amen brother! In the flesh this thing looks great, it'd be first on my list post lotto win too.
For those concerned that a gentleman does not sport a protuberance such as that spoiler, Jag have said they will offer a no-cost option of a smaller, more restrained one. And ditto with the wheels I think too.
This, plus a probably difference in perspective. In the UK, something like Pikes Peak is regarded more as a rally stage. Hill climbs are marked by their shortness and narrowness. That could just be a historical quirk of the UK maybe, most things over here are historical quirks.
Oh my! The sound of the Lotus 25!! Is it suddenly very hot in here?
