I rewatched the series last week as well, one per night starting Monday. Might just be the nostalgia talking but the first one is still at the top of my list. The Langley heist alone is still the most iconic set piece the series has ever produced. I agree about M:I II though, complete garbage.  I scene skipped through

I know Trav was insistent on the full beard but I really think he should have conceded to the fan-art and let Magnus rock the sideburns-only look.

Robin Thicke lost that case because he’s a smarmy loudmouth who made a ton of money. Also they preemptively countersued the Gaye family first. The jury (of 8, not 12) rewarded the Gaye family mostly out of spite. It had very little to do with the actual evidence presented. And now that bad precedent is rippling out

Lucky.  Hour and a half over here.

Most players have a 15 sec skip button nowadays. You don’t have to listen to ads. Or at all, if it’s really that hard to listen to anymore.

Calling it, this will be the #1 Halloween costume this year.

3 hours of dead air? I don’t think HBO would be into that.

But if it’s a cool story then what’s the difference? The focus of the podcast is storytelling, not gaming. His players all understood that at the end too, and made choices that made the story better. And Griffin did an amazing job of taking all the improvised loose ends scattered throughout Balance and tying them into

Ahem...*pushes glasses up nose* I believe Scorcese’s one shot in Goodfellas is an homage not to Orson Welles’ Touch of Evil, but rather to Welles’ lesser known The Magnificent Ambersons, which had a one-shot that was chopped up and mangled by the studio for its theatrical release.

Spotify’s mistake was to announce this policy publicly and widely. If they had just sent an internal memo to their in-house playlist curators saying, “Here’s a list of artists we don’t want you to include:...” how many users would actually have noticed? Probably not enough to warrant many headlines. Instead Spotify

Bearclaw?!

He already died once, what more do you want from him?

Children.

Need to? Probably not. But I wouldn’t recommend it. Could you watch season 7 of Game of Thrones if you missed seasons 5 and 6? Sure, but you’d be lost at times. This movie is a prize for people who stuck it out through 18 movies, and it doesn’t spend any time with recaps.

I hated Titanic, I knew the boat was going to sink the whole time!

Not to get pedantic on your pedantry, but:

My Brother, My Brother, and Me, episode 400.

You can totally give up on Westworld. Every creator on that show is already a gazillionaire, and there’s no way HBO will cancel it now that GoT is ending. You should keep watching shows that you enjoy and make you think if they are created by new voices and they need your viewership to keep existing.

So it’s the people who were lied to who are at fault, not the liars.

Why did the ships need to have someone stay behind at all? They all have autopilot and/or droids that can hold the throttle down. Those nameless captains died for no reason.
