I’m loving it but there really is no question - it could have been 2\3rds or even 1\2 the size and spent that time tooling the bosses to be more interesting and less repetitive.

No upgrades, just checked and PS5 is 10$ for teh single player, online is free.

There is some truth to what you are saying but only if a game’s developers basically fail to take advantage of modern design.

I get why people suggest Sanderson but come on. Tonally, he just couldn’t pull it off. The man has too much hope for, well, life. Not to mention he finds sex icky.

1) You probably know this but Jordan had a degenerative condition so he worked laboriously the last years of his life to leave behind outlines and layout key scenes. In addition, his wife\editor was there to firmly guide the process\handoff. It worked out for the series\fans\me but the entire story still makes me sad.…

I had almost forgotten the end of Feast (a book I voraciously devoured over a winter break while holed up on campus) ended with me feeling massive disappointment that was only alleviated by that last page explaining “why the fun characters aren’t in this book”.

I wonder sometimes.
