We have an expedition with the eco boost and even driving very nicely on the highway I still only can squeeze out 15 mpg.

Do you have any battle toads
I can see this being a good project for a speciality European car shop or for wheeler dealers but your average shade tree mechanic just doesn't have the specialist tools needed to make this Aston run again.
Not sure about the best car as an investment but I know you really can’t go wrong with the Toyota Tacoma. By it new. Drive it for 150,000 miles. Beat it up. Off road it. Never wash it and then sell it for 75% of the original selling price 10 years later
Doesn't really do anything for me. Looks too much like a Honda Pilot
Any reports of the estimated mpg from this bad boy
Curious how that would affect the handling? I mean that can't be easy to drive
Was the super bird ever not popular. I mean it was the fastest car in nascar for a while so it's got the pedigree
Grandfather bought one in 2012 because it was easier to get his walker in and out of the rear hatch. Combined with its higher ride height it's a good car for those with decreased mobility. I know that's not the image Buick was going for but I see a lot of older people driving these.
$24,000 for that Colorado is high. For a few hundred more you can get the access cab 4x4 Tacoma with the 4 banger. About the same on power but you'll be able to sell the Tacoma for about 3/4 of what you paid for it in 10 years.
So I should be able to pick one up in five years for about $10,000 right....
Motorweek does a retro review of the original 4Runner. Looks like a fun little truck. Always cool to see these old reviews with the cars in great shape. Can say I’ve never seen an original 4Runner with a decent interior.
Cheap truck. Hahahahahaha. Come down to Georgia and tell me how much the tundra is selling on the cheap. See these things selling for north of $12000 all day.
I've noticed that also. Brzs are selling for like 15k now on the used market.
Are the engines manufactured in the US or shipped over from another plant? First thought that came to mind was maybe the engine tooling process is having some hiccups.
I have a Lexus GX. Bought it used and haven't taken to the dealer yet. Use a local mechanic for everything it needs. I can see that being a reason. The dealership experience would be better at Lexus than at Toyota. Same reason Hyundai picks up your Equis from your house when it needs a service.
Always thought the LX was for people who liked the land cruiser but having a Toyota was too low brow.
First time seeing the engine set up from this angle. Does look a little odd.
what makes the Jeep Wrangler so successful is that it is in all respect a capable off-road car you can drive everyday. They are reliable and endlessly modifiable and can be had new for $30,000. Now if the new defender can follow this recipe then they will be successful in the states. If however this is slightly bigger…
