Thats what i was thinking. Saturn and Tesla are the only ones i know who use that approach. Saturn....maybe not a good example. The problem with Lexus its not entirely unique. BMW, Mercedes, Acura... They all compare to Lexus. Luxury buyers shop around and they might be put off by the lack of price negotiation. Ive

dont even ask about a used model with 200k. those are selling for 3/4 of their original asking price.

Maybe its just the angle but the front nose looks huge!! I know these are primarily mall wagons but damn. Land cruisers are still supposed to be offroad capable. This departure angle but be horrendous

I don’t buy the excuse the Tacoma is not used for towing at all. They come with towing packages for christ sake and the 7 pin connector so even toyota doesn’t think you’ll be towing a lawn trailer. Plus where i live you see just about as many tacomas as you do Ford F150’s and i can assure you the tacoma does do

I actually kept a gallon of transmission fluid in the back my of yj because it leaked so bad. And the 10mpg is the truest statement ever. She had a range of about 150 miles. Any further and your on fumes

Guy at my gym has a nicely restored j10. Nice looking truck.

Curious as why ford would use a jaguar v8 when they had so many better engines in their domestic stable

Was the ford gt in the other room at the time. That would be ironic

I've been waiting since January. Lack of info on this truck is really beginning to tick me off

Not gonna lie. That sportvan looks pretty close. But that might just be because of the front tire

I have a 2004. When you said something about the timing belt I figured that's what it was.

Was this a v8 4Runner.

4x4 diesel truck with a manual! Does it come in brown!

how old is your 4runner? The new ones handle wonderfully and get 16mpg.

Hope he has the drivers sign a waiver first.

Bet the guys in marketing are going to hate that. “Well shit we make this big deal about our trucks not being made of non bear proof aluminum and this happens”

What Chinas not doing so hot. You mean all those massive empty buildings are a drain on the economy. No....

I was a pt cruiser hater well before jalopnik. It was a pos then and it’s even worse now.

Never understood the hate for the sc. It was never meant to be a sport car or sporty at all. Your uncle Morty bought one so him and Martha could drive to the coast on nice weekends. It had decent sized trunk for golf clubs and a smooth engine. Always thought top gear missed the ball on that one. My theory is Hammond

I've always been curious about Toyota Centurys. What makes them so good?
