"I am Queens Boulevard."
My father bought his first brand new car in 1976. Bear in mind this one is an earlier model and had hubcaps instead of those rims. I think he had it till 1991 after that he bought a used Mitsubishi Might Max. From what I remember that Pinto never gave him any serious problem, only some issues with rust. Up to this day…
@rocknroll_jeph: Man, that's an excellent story. Are you planning on rebuilding it? Maybe in a near future you can share the same experience you had as a kid with someone else.
@philaDLJ: It's only a temporary fashion trend. Just like lots of cars had wings, side wood panel or mostly every early car looked the same next to the T model.
@Kent Wu: Done.
Only trillions of cells behind of having my own controlled human gladiator.
@DaltonColonel: Haha, love the new term "Ken-Block-ify".
There's no better supporting car as the Wagon Queen Family Truckster from National Lampoon's Vacations.

And that's how the "fly-wheel" got it's name.
@loosewheel: /hug loosewheel
@LittleMacAttack: PenPen!
@snapper.fishes: That's how "hobbies" are called. You get to do what you really enjoy in your spare time. Restore a car, do jigsaw puzzles, read and so on. This guy just did that with something that he liked.
@Roekone: But wait till you drive it.
Needs more stickers and neonlights.
In my opinion, I agree that safety regulations make them bigger, fatter and expensive. But it's just evolution of a product. For example, the Honda Civic was just a small, reliable and cheap car to sell. Now the name has become so popular that has acquired popularity throughout the years.
Are those scenes from the new Ghost Rider 2?
@grubish2: LOL.
