I really struggle with it on iphone. Maybe because I always opt to have a slightly smaller size phone but compared to Xbox it’s way, way more difficult to change direction quickly.

I think it’s clear you don’t want an Xbox, that’s for sure. I do not believe their legal justification is sound, and I believe that deep down you and I both know that the vast, vast majority of opposition to this deal from gamers is simply people not looking forward to migrating to a new ecosystem if games they want…
The way Kotaku continues to cover Microsoft is really cynical but I do hope that all the staff members who refuse to review games on Xbox will eventually have one thanks to this deal going through. Because that’s market competition.
The way I think of it (as someone who owns H1-3 on PS5 and Xbox Series X) is that the games have been out long enough that a reduction in price is sensible.
1) It is the same thing. There is no legal justification to stop Microsoft—a large company—from being able to make more expensive business deals than Sony. Sony’s dominance in the industry is due to its first party lineup. There is no consumer protection that relies upon Microsoft not being allowed to create a…
So if they kill Sony through in-house exclusives it’s OK? Likewise, if Sony kills Xbox through studios it has already acquired, that’s OK?
I know Sony isn’t the one on trial but everything the FTC has accused Microsoft of, Sony has also done. I think Microsoft is in a tough spot because on paper, they’re a giant compared to Sony. They’re a healthier, larger, diversified tech giant. It’s hard for regulators to separate larger Microsoft from Xbox as a…
It’s a ten-year deal, and it won’t even start until after Xbox completes the merger next summer. I would anticipate this news being a lot more relevant whenever Switch 2.0 launches. Which it will have to if they want to keep releasing games like Wolfenstein on it anyway (another Xbox first party title).
Calling this a “bizarre pledge” is really something. This is good news for everyone except Sony shareholders. I’ve got all three consoles and the news around this merger is just funny. I’m the guy who likes Gears and Forza enough to buy an Xbox for them, and seeing guys who have never considered an Xbox suddenly upset…
I have both consoles but I buy virtually every multiplatform game on Xbox because it’s designed so much better.
I hope it fails but I don’t think he bought it to make money. I think he bought it because he’s so full of himself that he thought he could mainstream Truth Social with a Twitter facade.
What an awful decision. Aim assist is virtually required to make fast-paced FPS games on console remotely enjoyable for the vast majority of people. And that’s fine, by the way, video games are games. But even if you’re someone who thinks aim assist should be turned off... it should at least be consistent.…
Fukuyama was right. History ended in 2000, it’s just that things also got worse.
Maybe it’s greedy, but it’s definitely the future and not dumb. The way Google did it is dumb, because they don’t have any first party library--Stadia makes no sense compared to Xbox X Cloud for example. But once latency is resolved (and it will be for many in the next decade) it becomes a very viable way to play…
Man that’s a lot of R&C games lol. Not an Xbox fan I guess. I’d have thrown Gears of War in there.
Chain restaurants are all pretty equal.
I don’t like most cinematic universes/crossovers (CU is a stretch in this case I admit) but this is maybe one of the best uses I’ve seen. Hats off to them.
I have both as well but I have to disagree, big. First of all, the Switch’s multiplayer features are hampered by the fact that it remains split screen, even online. Second, I have no idea how you’d enjoy this game without the 4k/framerate upgrades. I played Goldeneye when it came out. I owned and loved it. The visuals…
It’s a fun shooter, I’m bummed the Xbox version doesn’t have online multiplayer but it will look and run really sharp, and the local splitscreen is great. Yes, nostalgia is a big part of it for me, as this was my first FPS game on console (had only played Wolfenstein and Duke Nukem previously on PC). But it’s still…
Vanguard did an abysmal job with its handling of Black soldiers in light of Nazi views in its campaign. It wasn’t tone deaf; the Nazis were horrible, and were racist. But the details were all way off, particularly in the way the main antagonist described the Black POW. it’s literally what I said—they seemed to be…
