Lead aside, I don’t get why people go for these over non-toxic plastic bottles. The non-toxic plastics don’t dent when you drop them and don’t scratch when you drag them. If you’re out and about with a metal water bottle it will eventually dent.

I can handle obtuse storytelling, but there’s really no payoff in these games. Something vague that doesn’t make a lot of sense happens and you’re supposed to feel anything but frustrated by how the characters handle it.

Did not enjoy how they handled Aerith. A charitable interpretation of their decision making is that they wanted to give us something we wouldn’t expect by keeping her “alive” (supposedly? Maybe?) and also that it aligns with the split timelines Cloud is seeing (hallucinating? Creating?)

The biggest issues that need to be addressed—assuming they get the server numbers up, which I doubt they will honestly—is rubberbanding, abysmal controller settings in multiplayer (aiming is near impossible), and ticket counts. As it is, each round ends in about 2 minutes because they’re set to 100 tickets. Which is…

I have zero problem with sexy, or campy, or sexy camp. I applaud it. What is so gross and draining is how lecherous the game community around this game has become. Either enjoy it or don’t, I guess.

I still don’t know if I should buy FF16. I prefer real-time combat, which it has, but the longer I wait, the more convinced I am that it will eventually be added to one of PlayStation’s PS+ tiers as a free game. I dunno. I guess I’ll wait until it’s dirt cheap at least.

Hi Fi Rush rocks and I hope a zillion people buy it on PS5 and Switch. Honestly same with the other three rumored ports... people seem to be downplaying them because they’re not Starfield, but IMO the four games rumored to be hopping from Xbox to PS5 and/or Nintendo are far better games that I’ve gotten more enjoyment…

I have to imagine the way this is being handled means it’s a major, major shift to third party for Xbox--not just a few games, but perhaps most major games moving forward, albeit with timed delays before hitting other platforms.
