I have a Series X and PS5 and I’m the complete opposite. I played all of Sony’s 2-3 AAAs and then it just collects dust. The Series X is my go-to for everything else. You’re crazy if you can’t find enough quality games.

I agree, it was a really fun little diversion but it made me want BL4 more than anything...
I’m just bummed there’s no knight class at launch. They burned me the same way with D3 until the DLC.
There’s only one thing silly about sci fi shooters: the fact that it’s always space marines and navy when in reality the mission will belong to army airborne divisions and space force fleet pilots. Anyway.
There is no difference except for arbitrary values in your (our) heads. The reality is it’s the same thing whether you groom a studio (that means something difference in this context right?) or just buy one that’s popular. Sony did it with Bungie, not just Insomniac, and they’ve done it with other dominant studios in…
I have both consoles and I kind of hope it does go exclusive, mostly for the drama.
It’s easy to argue against *because* they are being hypocritical. If a game is essential, no game should be an exclusive.
They’re giving the masses what they want, unfortunately. Nobody goes to see anything original anymore, with a few notable exceptions that end up being pretty close to blockbusters anyway. Even The Northman bombed, and while it’s not the best Eggers, it’s way better than Thor 10.
You may be shocked to learn there are far, far more offensive antisemitic, racist, violent, etc. NFTs out there. I don’t like NFTs for all the reasons nobody here does, which are all good reasons not to like them! But this is just one aspect of tasteless art, not really an NFT issue.
Ah yeah man those fat-cat bloggers are what’s wrong with society
I mean the fact that he can sneak in a middle finger in an article he’s probably obligated to write without losing employment... you should take your anger out elsewhere man. The blogger is not your capitalist enemy, or whatever.
I’m not disagreeing with you. Like anything else you should use it responsibly. It definitely has the potential to affect your mind. For most people, social is probably unhealthy. That’s not a universal truth, it’s just something that’s common for a lot of people and it sounds like for you as well. I’m not disagreeing…
I agree. I’m fortuate that my org is a museum and so the content I share--our brand voice--is usually just fun stuff we’ve got going on or as part of our installations. The job sucks when it comes to customer service, because social is an abysmal space for customer service despite everyone wishing it was the go-to…
It sounds like you should unplug! Seriously I use social less now that I work in it than I ever have before. It can definitely mess with your head. There’s a lot of good content out there, the issue is that the algorithm is a cancer, and unless you’re aggressively filtering it will always try to promote shit that…
As a social manager myself it really sucks to see communications/my job always described as “handled by an intern.” Social is pretty important to communications these days, and if you haven’t noticed, it’s probably the most visible form of communication between people online and between customers and product. You…
I’m an equally confused social media manager. Outsourcing communications seems like an odd choice for a video game company, considering their product and consumer demographics.
I would expect ES6 in 2024/5 and FO5 in 2026/7.
It’s funny how games journalism waffles between crucifying studios for crunch and mocking studios for taking their time. You’d think Todd Howard would be celebrated by going slow but it seems all they ever get is hate. And while I realize the tone of this piece is light-hearted, I also realize that when all anyone…
Oh dude please, give me a break. I said they *improved* that aspect, gave it purpose. People loved exploring the systems, the major criticisms were that it didn’t have much of a point. It’s like the junk system in FO4--you have a purpose for all of that now. But hey, you sure don’t have to play. I just think it’s…
They showed multiple planets with major worlds and human and alien presence on them, along with other worlds that are better for base building, resource gathering, and looting. They showed both. I don’t understand how people could be so down on this when nearly everyone loves Mass Effect for the same reason. This just…
