You’ll take your coonhoun to Houston?

True, but not all Nissan dealerships can sell the GT-R.  Something about having a special frame machine....

I’m guessing the Driving School is for general managers to have an excuse go out to drive fast cars, then eat & drink on the dealership dime”

My nearest Chevrolet dealership also sells Mercury outboards and Kawasaki Mules. Last week, the front porch on the building collapsed and killed three coonhounds.  If I get one, I’ll take it into Houston for service.

Please do not have party where everyone poops.....this is doing it wrong.

While it’s now recognized, for the reason you describe, as being better than simply venting the gas, they’ve been flaring “associated gas” as a safety matter since long before global warming became a mainstream concern. If it’s present in quantities too large to ignore but too small to be economically useful, that’s

I would love to see them drive this up to a “Chains Required Beyond This Point” sign with a state trooper doing inspections.

I’ve known a Vette driving Vet for 39 years, my father, who is nearly 73. Sorry if my post came off with a measure of ambiguity.

What would you say to those Vietnam Vets who drive Vettes? If you’d like to belittle one of them directly, I think I can help to oblige your wishes. As it happens, I’ve known a Vette driving Vet for 39 years (point of fact: I’m 39 years old) and he has no trouble with the third pedal.

+1 Fuzzy. At 39 I am a 5-year C7 owner, preceded by 7 years with a C6. The math tells me I had a C6 at age 27 and even then I took umbrage with the tired trope of “Tommy Bahama shirt wearin’” bullshit. My now 72 year old father who lives 5 blocks from me has the second set of keys that he is encouraged to use far more

I agree 100%. What a logical point

I expect this kind of played out BS from the general commentariat but not from a “managing editor”. As I enter my early 30's I guess I’m just like your sterotypical Corvette buyers in remembering a “better time”. Back when Jalopnik had decent writers.

As the person who wrote the article, is it too much to expect better from you than the tired and unfunny “joke” about the average age of new Vette buyers?

Did you know the average age of the Miata buyer is nearly identical to the Corvette buyer?

Don’t quit the day job to do standup, Erin. If this were Twitter you’d be ratioed to Mars and back.

Pray for autonomous driving, or this joke will bite you in the ass.

When will this trope end? Expensive cars always demographic to older buyers. Kids in their 20's don’t have money for them. I was pumped in my 20s to afford a Solstice GXP (31k at the time). I still cant justify a Vette and our household income is Porsche territory now. Life gets in the way far too much to spend 80k on

A majority of the people ordering the new Corvette are people under 40. It’s a shame that some of you are so immature that you actually post crap like that here.

Yep! Don’t understand this.

Wait, I thought most Jalops lamented the crossoverfication of all of our SUVS.?
