Yeah, I forgot about that one. Didn’t like that in remake- I don’t remember it well enough from the original… which I guess it must mean it didn’t piss me off too much haha

Am I the only one who hates the parts in multiple RE games where you have to survive an onslaught of enemies for a certain period of time? I hated that in RE4 (both versions in the village), RE3 remake (hospital) and RE8 (village)
Good.
Ha! This is practically the same thing Square did with Aya in Parasite Eve 2. There’s a part where you look in the mirror and she says to herself “I look like I’m in my early 20s... its what the mitochondria want.”
It’s not even Kuribo’s boot.
I remember photos of this being shared by IGN (maybe?) at the time and there was even speculation about 3D but pretty much no one believed it. Crazy that it was legit. I remember some thought the “simple 3d graphics” of Wind Waker was because the 3d effect would require some of the power.
Ha, I love their answer. “Sure, you can merge- but you’ll need to split into 2 separate companies” haha
Yeah- I can’t even fathom you you burn through that much cash in a year.
came to say the same thing. I don’t think they realize that a vast majority of people who buy PS hardware don’t follow everything Sony says online. You’re also spot on about how they’re selling it themselves directly. When the original PS VR came out, I remember seeing Sony setup demos in some traditional retailers on…
you strike me as a very-people person. What’s it like being more people than people?
Reminded me of my teaching days. Some of my students told me how, the previous year, one of the most honest, hard-working students in my class was accused of doing online gambling by a teacher. What actually happened? He was on a website following a tutorial for some of the software we had (which was a valid…
No worries! Wasn’t sure if you were or weren’t- hope I didn’t come across as confrontational about it. Literally just the thought processes I was having when I read it.
Well, take whatever that number is and multiply it by 10 million- which is around the number of Xbox Series sold. So, even a tiny amount per console compounds quickly. I think they’re trying to decrease overall electrical usage and it’s less about the individual’s savings.
The CEO called it “the biggest pipeline in Ubisoft history” in his email to staff and said he’s excited to share more at this year’s E3 conference in June.
Ah I didn’t take it that way! I was just inadequately saying that my initial reason for my post was more in line with what you said and it was not a PlayStation or Nintendo fanboy trying to diminish what Microsoft was saying.
Oh yeah. I wasn’t being snarky really- just stating a fact. I mean, I have an Xbox Series X because of gamepass mostly. It’s a fantastic way to play (or just try) games that you probably wouldn’t have otherwise. But… I still buy plenty of stuff on switch and ps4/5. I keep toying with the idea of getting an S for my…
The company announced during its most recent earnings call that half of all the $300 Xbox’s users are completely new to the ecosystem.
The 6 figure request she was asking for is a tough pill to swallow if Platinum Games’ salaries fall in line with Japanese industry averages- which would mean she would have made double than anyone who made the game. Maybe a happy medium could have been found, though.
Yep. 100%
Yeah, there are ALWAYS deadlines and the people who get hit hardest are the ones who are the closest to the project. I don’t work in games, but I work in software.
