Agreed 100%, I don't even understand how drum-brake systems are still cheaper per-unit than discs in 2015.

The one thing I will say about #7 is that while I'm absolutely against left-lane campers on highways (they're absolutely infuriating), that sort of divided surface street likely has no such law and it's completely normal and lawful to drive in the left lane.

I don't think it was really a matter of "tracking down" the guy, it seems more like they just crossed paths on their commutes most days and the guy started recording it.

Pathological liars, as annoying as they can be, can still be extremely entertaining sometimes. I believe it was a comedian I once heard say that a conversation with a pathological liar can be a "Choose Your Own Adventure Story" based entirely on the questions you ask them.

Man, I've been reading down this thread and I've never seen so many uncalled-for personal assumptions about random people on the internet in my entire life. This situation about Clarkson is indeed as polarizing as Clarkson himself.

I wholeheartedly agree. I've been trying really hard to not get as frustrated with terrible drivers on the road, because most are self-absorbed scumbags who don't care about my response anyway. As somebody with a bizarre, lifelong obsession with cabover vans and trucks, I find that the American public seems to have a hatred of anything cabover. I can sort of understand a safety concern with consumer vehicles (although other developed nations get along with them just fine), but I've personally never

The Wolf Of Wall Street - An excellent movie and based (some argue "loosely") on a true story.

Maybe the driver still thinks that they got it home without a scratch on it.

I suddenly have a speck of emotion in my eyes as well. Good on all of you gentlemen for giving the man happiness and a feeling of purpose in his remaining days.

It certainly was!

Yeah, Jalopnik is the one place that I edit it out.

I'm not normally one to name cars (aside from an old Subaru I jokingly named Dennis), but I did name the rally car Raven. It's stuck for a few years now.

Funny you mention that, I had made a similar comment on a recent article about the DeLorean.

Still, kudos to Troy for wheeling a 2WD car around on ice/snow covered roads - with a flat tire - better than most people could with AWD and four fully-inflated tires.
