You’d just have to skip 6th or 7th period on the east coast to catch a 2:20 Cubs start. Or (more likely) he came in at 3 (HS ends at 2:30) and watched the last six innings.

When was the last time the Republican Party had responsible grownups?

He’s much better at throwing his glove to first than the actual ball

“Go fuck yourself, Lester.”

The dude’s workout regime includes yoga, Pilates, riding that sketchy foldable bike around the city, etc. People tend to forget that he was a top pitching prospect before the Orioles tried to mess with his mechanics. Thanks Cubs pitching coach, Chris Bosio!! #ChrisBosio4Lyfe

I’m a blackhawks fan, but Blues were the better team this year in general, even though the Hawks almost willed out a win in this one. Too many inconsistencies on the Defense to make a serious run, even on the back of the monster season Kaner had. I’m really glad Panarin was everything we hoped he’d be. Next challenge

Weirdness from the world of wrestling? Gasp.

Also of note, walking four times sets a one-day record for people who live in Ohio.

The late starts are just awful. The only evening game I’ve watched was the one I went to on Wednesday, and I’m still not recovered from staying up that far past my weeknight bedtime (also from the beer).

8:30 starts are horseshit. I don’t know who they think is staying up until 1am to watch hockey on a work night, but it sure as hell isn’t me. The transition from drinking on weeknights in my mid 20s and going to bed at 1030 every night happened out of no where. I want my youth back, I want to live.

I’d agree at this point. The Blues look great- they’re hitting, they’re scoring, their defense and goaltending have been solid... honestly they remind me more than anything of the 2011 Bruins (and as a B’s fan, that’s high praise). The Hawks... well, they’re angry, they’re frustrated, and it’s causing them to take

Despite history having taught me otherwise, I’m ready to call this season for the Hawks. Andrew Shaw’s despicable display of peak Andrew Shawness was a fitting capstone to a tumultuous regular season. Even if this series goes 7 games, I just don’t see them pulling it off.

No. Chris Hine, who writes about the Blackhawks for the Chicago Tribune sums it up ;

Seriously, there are so many other swear words you can choose to use instead of homophobic or racist ones. It’s not like we’re lacking in choices. Hell, get creative, use another language. What a lazy fucking piece of scabrous hyena ass.

It’s too bad that Shaw was the Hawks’ best forward tonight (paging 88 & 19) and the worst. He deserves to sit for game 5 for the double birds alone. The gay slurs are just the cherry on top his idiocy.

REALLY? You waited until after 11 AM to post this. Typical lazy, east coast elite.

Famous enough. :) Best of luck/fortune/all the things to you and your husband.
