Over 70% of people diagnosed with MS are out of work within 5 years. Sorry about your dad. MS is a mentally exhausting disease. You never know if today is the day you stop going into remissions and it is all relapses.

Quite literally it is his immune system attacking his neurological system. That is the reason he has MS. As a fellow MSer, I can tell you he has a long road ahead. You just never know what path your MS will take. I wish him all the best in the world. He is a young man with overall good health and strength which…
I was a regular commenter way back when. I loved the sharp writing and brilliant commenters, many of whom I am still connected to and adore. DUAN was fantastic before the large culling. Things change, business needs and all that. Thanks to Will for creating something special and being a good all around guy. Will…
As much as I love Joe’s crazy moves and Bryant and Javi Baez playing all over the field, don’t you think it is time to go to the relief pitcher store? Jesus, there is no reason to go 15 innings against the fucking Reds.
This shit is rigged.
Such a shit show. Ugh. The bad old days.
Yeah, that is me. I am doing really well with the MS. Just taking it one day at a time. Does this make me internet famous?
I can’t emphasize how important LTC insurance is for people to consider. I bought a policy years ago and sort of felt like I was throwing money away. Then I got diagnosed with MS 4 years ago and I am constantly telling my husband to send me to the home when/if I become to much work for him to care for at home.
My point is, their kid going to school is important to them so we should all pay. Someone else's kid going to school is not something we should all pay for, unless we think it is for the betterment of society. Which I happen to believe.
Until a republican hands me back 10K for my property taxes to pay for their kids to go to school, I will believe it.
I think that is the only way that a republican will soften their stance on anything, when it is in their home or family. Got a gay kid, now I support gay rights. Have a kid with a disability, now we need better services, schools, and funding for those with disabilities. And on and on.
Million dollar arm, 5 cent head.
When we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago, we took down a wall and put in a long stretch of counters and counter top. This is what we refer to as the pasta counter. Nothing better than gravy on the stove and making fresh pasta. And homemade bread. Lord.
I had an amazing PT for a while and then they decided not to take me as a customer anymore and wanted me to travel to another location for patients with MS. PT has done wonders for me but I do need a good massage for spasticity issues about once a month.
Fuck, Lion.
Has anyone let Joe Biden know about the cancer cure?
I have heard spouses of AA's say basically the same thing. They just replaced one all encompassing thing with another.
I have generally been a fan of Spike’s movies. I like his directing style and appreciate that most of his films have made me think about racism in this country. It does not mean I need to agree with everything he says or does. Chiraq is a term I hate. Mainly because it feels true. Every goddamned day it is another…
Ha ha! No, I married my husband. My aunt told me that before I married him.
Not dead. Just busier and less time to read and post shit. My husband's hands are much larger than mine so I don't like it either.
