The singing is what made me tune out too many forgettable songs. But the ending got to me. Also like that Geppeto was annoyed with him at first and was freaked out about him being alive which makes sense.

The best measure of Morbius’ failure is that the female lead is Adria Arjona, who everybody fell in love with within 10 seconds in Andor as Bix, and nobody remembers she was in Morbius.
“Paul, who’s been on something of a redemption arc these last few years following the “suicide forest” fiasco in December 2017"
What possible sequence of events could have occurred for you to put forward the suggestion that Paul has been on ‘a redemption arc’ beyond the bare minimum of not going back to a suicide…
Surprise, surprise. Sadly he didn’t even manage to learn enough to change his mind about twitter only needing to be “50 people”.
Twitter probably can’t get down to less than 50 LAWYERS, much less 50 employees. Even the idea of only 50 engineers is patently ridiculous. You’re going to need that many people to just…
I mean, there's literally a tweet from him embedded in the article where he says it was never likely he'd be able to do the search work he was hired to do and once he got into the code he decided he wasn't even gonna try. It's right there. I'm not sure how you missed it but now you know.
I’m not convinced scraping images at an industrial scale to be fed into and assimilated by a neural network and turned into for-profit tools, is the same as 'looking and learning' like a person does.
The thing is this “AI is simply chopping up bit of existing art and stitching it together”
The data sets using art work without consent isn’t stealing?
I feel like I’m living on a different planet than people who praise the original avatar (much like the revisionist takes on the star wars prequels). like the assessment just seems factually wrong (though obviously everything is subjective. Even people who didn’t like it will praise the visuals and like... it looks…
Over the years I have seen more & more people consider the original almost laughably inferior to T2. I’ve always stood up for it. The only thing lacking is the special effects. I’ve never once thought Ahnold’s Terminator providing comic relief and Edward Furlong’s smartass character were improvements on the saga.…
I’ve long maintained that Terminator 2 is better than the original in every way. A few months back I watched both back to back with someone who’d seen neither, and we both definitely felt Terminator 1 was so amazingly taut and straightforward.
On no planet is Avatar a better movie than True Lies, which is about the best blend of action, comedy and romance you’ll ever find. But otherwise...I’m not sure what you could move on this list other than Way of Water, which I have not seen but is getting solid reviews. Let’s face it, this guy’s filmography is pretty…
The Terminator is still my favorite as well, although, I also loved everything else he’s done, until Avatar. It’s the only boring movie he’s ever made, pretty to look at, but a chore to watch. I can’t believe it, but the new Avatar is the only James Cameron film I will never see, I refuse to sit through another one of…
I just don’t get how a website exists only for artists, fucks artists over then wonders why the artists got mad? YOU HAD ONE JOB, LOOK AFTER THE ARTISTS!
I thought it was kind of interesting as a long time fan of Armored Core to see people wondering if it was going to be a Souls-like game. I think a lot of those people probably had never played an Armored Core game or hadn’t in a very long time because you can tell they share a lot of the same tenants as the Souls…
It’s an overstatement for comedic effect sweety, calm down.
Yeah, it’s a weird choice. I watched the first two episodes, and while the aesthetic is there, I thought the writing and acting was on the level of those monthly Hulu horror movies - that is to say serviceable, but distracting.
Not when most other tech companies are also laying people off and putting hiring freezes in place, including all the big dogs. Even if we aren’t technically in recession, tech companies are acting like we are. These people are fucked because Zuck is a selfish moron.
““I got this wrong, and I take responsibility for that.””
No, Mark, you are making 11,000 other people take responsibility for that. You are taking no responsibility.
They were literally telling people to do it.
