Honestly, I am shocked, shocked I tell you that they didnt go through with the wedding so that the next episode could end with Lena shooting Rhea, and going all "The Queen is dead, as Queen I order you to stand down".

.. I take it you have not seen sense8. Correct that.

You are assuming a smaller portal would be easier. It is entirely possible "Big ass portal" is the simplest design because it requires less strict machining tolerances, and building a little portal that doesnt cause telepath head aches and can fit its opening inside buildings is far, far harder.

Genuinely flying off through space. She just got off first after ordering the pilot to listen for the portal opening.

I have this vague hope that Cloak and Dagger will make it work by making them explicitly a battle couple.

They write around it *badly* This episode established that the portal was fucking up the telekinetic and telepathic aliens. So. Just have it give John the mother of all head aches too. Okay, at that point, the DEO knows from the word go that the "terrorist" is almost certainly a victim rather than a perp, but..

There are people who do not like Dani? Are they also opposed to sunshine and puppies?

Re: bodily harm. This is why supergirl does not use superspeed to solve all her fights, while villain kryptonians use it all the time. She can move very, very quickly, but that is not a precision maneuver, and anything she interacts with at full speed is going to get a least a little messed up. Justified here because

Lena knows, she just thinks it is way more amusing to think up a new way to tease Kara about her secret identity between every single meeting they have than it would be to confront her about it. This is so obvious it has warped back around to ".. Why is Kara not catching on her chain is being yanked"?

He appeared to be himself when not actively controlled. Presumably that was his breakthrough that got him to move the product into self-test phase - he realized he could just set the mainframe up to tell the subject to do what the subject itself wanted to do, so that they still had self-control, it just got rerouted

Chemistry is a function of time too. Maia has a highly attractive girlfriend who is standing by her in an epic shit storm.. But she is never on screen so noone invests in her or the relationship

That's one reason I went with "bench" - Both parts of firestorm have very good reasons to return to 2016 on a more permanent basis - They have lives to go back to, family, friends. So writing them off isn't hard.

Much as I like Jaks and Stein, if the show can't afford to ever use Firestorm, they should bench those two characters, because having them around but never merging due to meta constraints is terrible for suspension of disbelief. So get someone who has a gimmick that doesn't break the sfx budget

Daisy and Jemma didn't get their greatest regrets undone - That was something they AIDA specifically does for people she inserts, and they were not put in by her, but just bodysnatched their NPC selves. So, the changes in their lives are consequences of other changes. In both cases, probably the Hydra takeover. Jemma

Amy seems.. pretty awesome. If Maia has any sense she'll put a ring on that sooner rather than later, and that relationship has enough external sources of drama to not need internal ones.

Guilty. But really, it's not just that they're attractive, it is also that most people like to watch compelling narratives, and don't have to see themselves exactly reflected in them. I don't have to be a black female mathematician and mother to find the romance side plot in hidden figures compelling - and neither

… So you think the straight audience would… not… tune in to watch Katie Mcgrath and Melissa Benioist kiss? That seems.. a questionable prediction.

That wasn't a mistake. Lex loved his sister, I'm not even sure Lillian was telling the truth - What we saw was that the locks opened for Lena.

.. The episode after their place of employment was invaded by shapeshifters. Uhm. Yhea, video evidence is super compelling.
Coming back to people doing a poor job defending their viewpoints, Lena's alien detection device is an absolute nessecity to avoid society descending into paranoid chaos. The synthetic Kryptonite

That wasn't the funny part of that. It's the way he was ranting that noone would come to save her.. While Maggie and Maggie's favorite infantry fire squad were putting their lives on the line trying.
