Having experienced an apex seal blowout, this still makes me laugh then cry every single time:

Clearly you are unfamiliar with British car owners.

Add the words “In theory” to the “great many fuels”. I know the M1 Abrams is supposed to run on anything you dump in the fuel tank that is reasonably flammable. I’ve read that in reality, everything about the engine fuel system has to be switched out and re-optimized to get it to run at all. Then once it does run, it

The issue with small turbines is that they’re unbelievably loud. They are very efficient, many mobile robot platforms use them (Big Dog, etc), but you basically need to wear ear muffs around them when they’re running. I imagine the rotary offers a better compromise on noise. It also likely can be lighter as you don’t

Likely a smart idea. Honestly, i’m surprised that manufacturer’s aren’t looking at a tiny turbine for a range extender. A small turbine can be made extremely efficient at a single rpm, which is fine to run a generator. I would guess the Wankle engine might also benefit from an efficiency bump if running at a single

Subaru fanboys disagree, or maybe I missed a joke and it went right over my head... gasket...

Only in a rotary Mazda can you be a fan boy and shit talk your own car at the same time and everyone gets the joke...

It is really strange how the price of new GT-Rs has gone up and up and up and up and yet the car’s performance has only had maybe two of those ups

The Z06 costs $90,000 MSRP, and is actually slower around most tracks than the GT-R. Not that it matters. Very few people buying these cars are extracting their full potential. They’re just cool cars to have. Does cost really matter that much when they’re so close in both price and fun factor?

If you look at it from the outside, a mile away, thru a brick wall it does seem pretty insane to spend 100K+ on a 565HP, 4,000lb Nissan over a 650HP Vette.

I’ll make sure to include even more detail shots than usual, in my next few reviews, just for you. :)

Panel gaps: You’re not the only one who notices...!!!  (smile)

“...In other news, Volkswagen subsidiary ‘Tesla’ has been caught cheating on emissions testing.  Scientists are looking into how this is even possible...”

Bonus: Watch those panel gaps disappear.

“Judgement secured”

Whoa whoa WHOA. Are you telling me that an innovative disruptor CEO like Elon Musk is held to the same legal and ethical standard as any old boring ass CEO?! Poppycock!! This is a boomer conspiracy formulated by Big Oil!!!

The whole burnout u-turn preceding that on a public road without taking the time to make sure there was no one coming makes him a douchebag.

Was the PT really for the young crowd? Wit the retro styling ti seemed to have baby boomer empty nester written all over it.

As far as Chrysler is concerned it’d be great if it ended up like the PT Cruiser. It was a successful vehicle in terms of sales.
