All in all, I think that's an excellent list, with the possible exception of Doctor Who and the Silurians, which does have many redeeming features... but being quick-paced is definitely not one of them.

Just started rewatching DS9 on Netflix and man am I glad I made that choice. I tried to get through TNG but it had never really been my show, I'd catch random episodes here and there but DS9 has deeper plot lines and better characterization in my opinion. Plus Sisko is beyond bad ass.
