In 1996, I was just out of college and in my first year of graduate school. I was engaged to my now wife, but we had no plans for kids or pets any time soon. We had survived in our new apartment for six months without a car, but the New England winter was getting rough. This would be my first new car purchase, and I

Unless you have a nice trade-in. We had to buy a new car, because my wife’s car died. I decided to trade-in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler, because I didn’t drive it much (semi-retired). I had bought the car new in 2015 for $30k out the door. Got $28k for it as a trade-in. Granted, we didn’t get a screaming deal on the new

Edited: I stand corrected. It looks like the EV credit is non-refundable. That sucks.

A minor quibble (and probably an unpopular opinion), but damn the Bronco is ugly with the top and doors off. It looks so good with the top on. And then...wtf?

I’ve actually given a little bit of thought to this.

Whoa, there.

You’re not wrong.

Trump: If you like automobiles, how can you vote for a Democrat who all want to get rid of cars...

Yeah, I’ve lusted after a classic Bronco for decades, but found happiness in a 6MT 2-door JK. Had this come out 5 years ago, it would’ve had my attention, but now... So far, I’m not seeing anything that’ll make me want to swap.

That’s unfortunate. Motorcyclist was always my favorite back when I was neck deep in two-wheelers.

Yeah, no. I wear headphones. A voice blends into the background noise. A bell is distinctive, isn’t muted by noise cancelling headphones, and often gets my attention.

I would totally consider trading in my Wrangler for one of these. Sign me up.

So, where’s the petition we need to sign to get this damn thing? I’ll put a deposit down today, if necessary.

Bonus: If you’re selling a vehicle, some banks offer free notary services to their customers, so you can sign over the title and deposit the cash all at once.

But, best selling doesn’t translate to best quality/product/etc. I mean, most people are...well, morons and are probably purchasing products based on glowing fake reviews, paid ads, and “Amazon’s Choice” tags to begin with.

No disagreement from me. I’d love to get the RWD 1-series here. I’m just saying the switch to FWD and smaller engines aren’t deal breakers for me.

As much as I lust for a RWD hatch, doesn’t it severely limit the functionality of the hatch? I’m ok with a FWD 1-series hatch. I can even live with dropping the inline-six, because that 2.0 turbo sounds fun. But the lack of a manual makes this a firm no. Golf R still offers an upscale hot hatch with a manual.

Having moved from an Element to a Wrangler, I fully support this message. But damn, do I love that Wrangler.

I just rented it from the video store

Well, damn. I admit, I didn’t know cars were supposed to merge into the bike line to make a right turn. And I’m nearly positive most cyclists around here don’t know that either.
