Also - Couch Co-op.  This game is finally gonna sell me a PS5, because the only way I play this monster is with my wife playing the other side of the splitscreen.

I’m not surprised that the author fails to understand why this is actually pretty innovative and different from “lol boats already had sails before” but I’m surprised at the comments on the post doing the same thing. Usually the comments are pretty good at calling out why the author’s take on something is stupid but

The most important thing game didn’t tell me was why tf should I go against Lilith. Out of all these deities at play, she’s the only one who care at least a little bit about humanity’s existence. I fail to see how her rule over realms other than Sanctuary would be a bad thing, given that it would guarantee stopping

People will continue to be bitches. As a 3080 owner, this doesn’t phase me in the slightest. My backup rig, which I play on often when I can’t use the front room, has a 1080ti. I will also not be phased on that rig. nVidia have done this shit for years, nothing here is different.

And only 11 of those hours are cutscenes.”

I have a couple of followup questions:

It’s definitely taken as an insult, by people who have extraordinarily thin skins and absolutely are scrapping for a fight.

You are not a serious person.

Elon is an asshole

I don’t know where you’re hanging out and seeing this, but I only see cis being used as descriptor in the same sense as trans without any negative connotation. The only negativity I see at times is when someone is frustrated with someone or the group of people that the word describes, but that would apply to any

How is a fact a slur? You can call me cis all you want, idgaf cause it’s true

He’s kind of right - cis-gender is a group designation with negative connotations that is most often used to criticize and condemn.

I’m convinced Elon never had any friends growing, and now that he’s super popular with the terminally online right he will do anything to please them.

I’m sure streamer chats are toxic as hell, but I refuse to believe that his job is anywhere near as exhausting or toxic as any service industry job.

He said he felt trapped by the neverending grind to create, saying streaming “six to eight hours a day” has grown tiring.

i agree glamping and film sets are ideal use cases, but short term (e.g a day) emergency power seems viable to me as well

I look forward to all of these running for two weeks and then getting canceled.

Where are you being “constantly” sold microtransactions? I have opened the shop tab once or twice, but have otherwise never noticed anything in game.

Making bad business decisions is not a catch-22. Its not a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” scenario.

You know, considering how awful and intrusive Kotaku’s ads are on mobile, I think it’s kind of hilarious to see you calling out what is fairly benign (albeit also still pretty crappy) compared to your own site’s ads, which are massive and page engulfing.
