Putting Windows on it for Gamepass is going to be what would push me to into getting one, especially if the Windows version of Steam gets the same interface as SteamOS under big picture mode.

Downloading all those free Epic Game Store games over the years that I never play on PC is finally going to pay off

Oh for sure, and Retroarch is already natively on Steam (in beta form). Once this thing is out, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets stuff like RPCS3 and Yuzu running on it.

I’ve been eyeballing an RG350 for a while, but even those don’t handle some PSP games (or newer emulators) all that well. That shouldn’t

Steam has needed a Steam account for 20 years to play games on Steam.. no idea what you even mean?

Needing a Steam account for it is just like needing a Facebook account for Oculus.

Because so many PC games need the mouse, I’d imagine?

That would be capitulating.

Fuck your slideshows.

oh this looks like a fun article *clicks*

I spent my childhood in training to make it through the temple, and to reach the top of the Aggro Crag

I was all ready to root for him until I saw that stupid fucking react face.

Right?

It is for some people and that is valid for them, but adding an easy mode to a game does not make the difficult mode any less hard for them

Yeah, the desire to play things on harder difficulty levels evaporated pretty quickly as I got older. I still try to make an effort to replay each Halo game on Legendary, but that’s more about tradition for me than anything else (and honestly I didn’t wind up doing that with Halo 5 until only a year or two ago, so

I’ve got tendonitis, so I can’t hold a controller properly. I play with an arcade stick when a game’s controls allow for it, and I have a modded controller, but there’s only so much I can handle. I’m mostly confined to turn-based games (though I’m doggedly trying to arcade stick my way badly through Hades). I very much

I like hard games quite a bit, but there are a lot of instances where if you give me an easy mode, I’m going to take it. Sometimes I just want to see cool shit and experience a game and its story without much resistance.
