I make the association because, obviously... What’s the mnemonic device?

This is when we look into altering behavior, because it is awesome that you paid off your debt and that should be celebrated. If you had switched to purchasing with cash or if you had made the cash payments on the card when you received them you would’ve paid less in interest. But as creatures of habit that’s a hard

You mention rate and balances when figuring out what method to use. I added length of finance agreement and monthly payment when I figured out what I wanted to do.

I’m with you in the “if someone’s gonna hurt you so whatever” camp. But you should also teach them more because many men from super-macho to on-ALL-the-drugs do not register the pain and do not stop.

Guilty feet have got no rhythm

The flu is a serious health problem. Especially when you’re 90.

US commercial planes must each have an AED, apparently not all UK planes do because it isn’t mandated. Some airlines have them because they’ve decided it’s important, but not all.

No. Kim Davis is supposed to be a civil servant and was trying to subvert federal policy. These women are private employees being forced by their union, to which they pay dues and which is supposed protect their interests, to perform at the inauguration of a man who has boasted that his position gives him the right to

Yeah, when working on tasks where I can use pomodo I’m alone, doing the parts of my job I loathe, two days out of my work week. The rest of my job is physical and the things I really enjoy so I don’t need that technique to get me through.

Would be have the mics feeding a PA in the office?

What are you talking about? He enjoyed that authentic Mexican taco bowl on Cinco de Mayo!

Pomodoro method really helps, when I remember to use it. I switched from a plain pomodoro app to Forest, which I learned about in a lifehacker article earlier this year, that’s a pain to search for from my phone.

Yes to everything except report it. Reporting and seeking help should only be done by the person being abused. Not only can reporting it without their knowledge and permission put them in even more danger, it also reinforces the abusive behavior that they don’t have control over their own lives.

The point is that the hairstylists are unexpected. In addition to the relationships hairstylists can build with their clients, a lot of abusers will block the person they’re abusing for medical care/privacy, but they can’t be bothered with hairdressers because it comes across as unimportant.

Well, the class is, but that’s the awesome part.

It does, and you walk away with a ton of materials to point people who want help towards the experts. It’s a first line of defense kind of thing rather than expecting the hairdresser, or any other non advocate, to suddenly save everyone.

I’m so sorry you never had that private time. It sucks how well abusers are able to hide the behavior in public, then claim they “ lose control” when they don’t have anyone watching. So glad you’re out now though.

The local shelter system in my region offers similar training. They even mentioned the stylist relationship among people who can start conversations. It was so beneficial, I encourage you to look into seeing if it’s available in your area.

Comment because you need more stars for this, and ditto.

Why is it that all the Gawker posts that talk about suicide have the suicide prevention hotline at the end, but the DA ones don’t have Domestic Abuse hotline?
