because thats almost certainly not what she signed, if he is releasing the photos then chances are she signed a broader release, essentially giving up the rights to the photos, in effect she likely agreed to the shoot, but not restricting its use

If she signed a standard release, she agreed to any and all additional future use of the images by the photographer or anyone he chooses to license the images to - including this book.
Because it’s only your opinion that he’s a scumbag. In reality, she’s the scumbag for trying to renege on your part of the contract. She sold her rights to the photos. Can’t have it both ways
Am I way off base here to think that if she didn’t want the photos shown then she should have held onto the rights to them? I get that going against her wishes is a low move, and pretty douche-y, but she consented to them being taken in the first place? I guess I’m struggling to see how it’s a violation if she agreed…
Sadly, that’s why you have to double-check that model release form.
They can spin all they want. Bottom line is they used the image for a commercial purpose which is exactly the opposite of the definition of fair use. I can guess what really happened.
Anti-choice. That’s the proper term and one I’ve heard used a lot. I like it because it really gets at what the movement is all about: restricting freedoms. These people don’t give a shit about life.
Hey yokels, enjoy getting fucked in the ass:)
I’m curious how much his 24+ hours awake had to do with delays that weren’t his fault, overly aggressive timelines, poor work conditions, etc. I’m not immediately dismissing the possibility that he is at fault. I’d just love to hear his side of the story.
Actually, I’m hoping for Mitt. He’d be the first sane choice Donald Trump made. The rest of his cabinet picks send me into shock and disbelief that a cabinet could be that bad!
Okay, but can reporting on this story PLEASE emphasize that the camp is located on unceded treaty land? Not only are they being ordered to leave, but they’re being ordered to leave land that actually belongs to them.
But not really;
This seems like such an odd thing for people to get their panties in a twist about. Between the Russians, voter suppression efforts, and Trump claiming the election was rigged I don’t see how taking a closer look at a couple of states can hurt, maybe it will help restore some confidence in our voting system. It’s…
I’m pretty sure the common thread here is marijuana. The employees got freaked out by a customer and hid in the back: high. Dude goes to CVS in the middle of the night looking for cheese and spends 45 minutes wandering around the store: high.
The president elect says there was voter fraud. Better do a nationwide recount.
I am SO glad that baby was ok but goddamn I’d throw every ticket in the book at those parents. PROPERLY RESTRAIN YOUR CHILDREN!!! (And remember no puffy winter coats in the car seat! Use them like a blanket over the child once they’re already strapped in!)
Advocates of a ban say that relationships between a lawyer and client is inherently unequal, making any sex potentially coercive.
Again, this guy is a POS but warning shots and shots to extremities is not how it works. A warning shot into the ground or air can kill someone you are not meaning to kill. The point of shooting someone is to neutralize a threat. A shot to the shoulder or knee, besides being an incredibly difficult feat to pull off,…
Listen, I’m 100% with you on gun control and how this guy is a POS but you need to learn something about guns. Real life is not a movie. There is no such thing as shooting someone’s knee or leg. When one fires a gun, they shoot for center mass. The point is that it is the widest area, least likely to miss, and the…
Right — if the kid had a gun and was threatening him with it, this is a very different story than a “hate crime.” It sounds like Means was the aggressor, and if he was armed and threatening violence, he was certainly also at fault. But then the way Pulliam acted after it happens is extremely bizarre. So this is an odd…
