I don’t remember how I discovered John Mulaney - maybe by accident on Netflix sometime last year? - but he’s my new favorite standup. I’ve watched both of his specials multiple times. He’s hilarious and his delivery is such a big part of his jokes.

Maybe I’m just an exception, but I have a much harder time taking financial/career/life-choice risks than I do physical risks. Cliff-diving? I’m in. Deciding to work in film production? Nah, I’ll take something with actual job security.

On the right flight, it’s awesome. I’ve been on a few flights of non-US carriers, though, and I breezed past the line and saw there was no line for US passport holders anyway, because everyone else from the flight was from overseas. Still, it feels cool.

I grew up in the forties/fifties and remember friends and family who got polio; some died, some ended in iron lungs and some came back with withered limbs. The vaccine changed everything in a few years. This is what the anti-vexers do not know and what they are doing/not doing can bring polio back.

This is a good cat. Our rescue cat Luna is the same way. She’ll cry and whine and whathaveyou while in a cat carrier, but take her out? In your lap and purring the entire car ride. She also spends her time between the shower curtain and liner whenever someone’s taking a shower, but in the car? Purrfect.
