Yes it did, but only by a few weeks. It was released Nov 18th in the US, Nov 30th for PAL countries, and Dec 8th in Japan. Three weeks isn't quite like 10 months.

I am completely aware that it's a new game. Many games carry over rewards from previous versions. Sports franchises being the most common.

Just because it's different characters doesn't mean it won't carry over your rank. Your BA rank is independent of your characters. You can have one or one hundred characters contribute to your BA rank. There is no technical reason they can't at least give us some credit for our BA. Maybe 25%...

I've seen crazier codes, but you have a point. Although even a digital copy of Titanfall is losing them money, it is published by EA, not Microsoft. Additionally bandwidth for downloads isn't free. Obviously its not $60 lost, but its certainly some money.

I think you meant $100 less disc-less version of the hardware. But this still has a disc drive, and it includes THE big game for the system. It seems like a strange move if its not a mistake as Shane is now indicating.

I though the Xbox One was selling pretty well, not quite as good as the PS4, but not horrible. To bundle it with the only true system seller you have, on its release day, for $100 less than retail.... Either they are getting desperate or its just a smart long term strategy to build the user base.

Sony is paying for the advertisement, there is no reason for them to show that its on the Xbox too. As long as they don't say its exclusive, there is no problem. Its similar to how a lot of consoles advertise for Madden and Call of Duty, even though neither are exclusive.
