@Dinosaur!: It is quite possible that the announcement will be solely about the ipad2, and not about a verizon iphone. The leaked pictures of new frames for the iphone are probably for the iphone 5.

@aja175: The point is that you can zoom in a way similar to that on a point and shoot camera.

@mputtr: 3dtv's have to put out a lot more brightness and have to be faster, because the 3d filter makes things darker, and the whole splitting of frames means that it has to be double as fast. They're usually great for 2d, that's all.
