This bothered me a ton. I just didn’t like the idea that we’re talking about a guy who, in the comics, has lost to Wonder Woman twice (one time in the comic miniseries that inspired WW84). Diana is more dangerous than Superman is and always has been. Superman coming in to save the day should be because they need at

That...doesn’t work for me. The Lasso is the Personification of Truth; as said in WW84, Truth is a concept like Justice. Being within it makes you see the truth - not just tell it.

But the movie version seems to forget that he should be vulnerable to magic. There’s no way he should’ve been able to resist the Lasso of Hestia when WW used it on him at the memorial. That scene drives me nuts as a result.

Honestly, I enjoyed it.. but I think they underpowered wonder woman quite a bit.. and made Supes overpowered..

Surprisingly not; he actually dials it back quite a bit and emphasizes their heroism

Anyone that is writing here that the ethnicity of the victims is irrelevant feel free to go fuck yourself. This country has spent over 400 years making excuses for whiteness and the fact that the people you have punched down on all this time are now refusing to take your shit anymore has led to violence. On January

They want us to ignore the fact that this guy specifically went to/targeted Asian massage parlors, as the the white guy fetishization of Asian women ain’t a thing. And Georgia has plenty of opportunities for a guy with a “sex obsession” that doesn’t involve a particular race, just like any other city.

Get the fuck outta here with this bullshit.

I agree that it was credible and that it wasn’t likely to sink the nomination on its own, given that it was high school behavior. What should have sunk the nomination was his reaction to it, which was that she was lying and he didn’t drink too much and it was a conspiracy against him and yelling and crying and saying

I was contact once by the FBI. I was surprised, and even more surprised to hear they wanted to interview me about a former roommate I’d had about 3 years earlier. I hadn’t had contact with him in any of that time, either. But I guess I was on some form somewhere as having lived with him and so here I was in a Peet’s

On one hand: Yeah. It seems like quite the Sisyphean task.

Still, if people didn’t protest things that are ubiquitous, change would never happen.

I’m just going to leave this here.

This isn’t actually what happened, and there are more than enough reasons to criticise Whedon that we don’t need to misrepresent this scene any further.

I honestly wonder if Whedon actually truly believed the things he was saying early in his career?

I’d love to see a story closer to the books. All of the extra crazy added to the first True Blood really made it hard to sustain interest.

it’s like, because it’s cute it has to be innocent.  it doesn’t.  in fact, it doesn’t need to adhere to our human moral standards (or even adult moral standards).  things eat other things.  that’s the amorality of nature.  is it terrifying?  yes.  i think it also establishes that cutie yoda baby is a nuanced living

So they miscalculated a joke. Alright. Let's move on. Even the best shows have an episode that miss the mark from time to time. It happens. It's not that important. Let's see what this Friday brings!

I’m not bothered by Baby Yoda’s desire to eat the eggs given his apparent mental age.

Guys don’t forget this.
