i honestly use ‘btb, rts’ as a mental note all the time when i’m cooking. it just works, and anne never beat it to death. i refuse to use EVOO or any of rachael’s abbreviations because she just overdoes and overexplains them and they’re obnoxious AF. abbreviations can work, but they have to serve a purpose and avoid

right there with you. when i’m super duper stressed, it’s hard to eat anything at all. but like you said, boredom and low-grade stress tend to lead me to the delicious but not so healthful combo of cheese + carbs. cheese toast, bagels with cream cheese, grilled cheese, cheese and crackers, quesadillas, buttered cheesy

based on how miserably they handle their fries, i wouldn’t trust them to properly fry a chicken sandwich even if they did offer it.

one of my coworkers (an anti-vaxer to boot) and her husband-to-be wanted to have their wedding reception at the golden corral, but it burned down a couple weeks beforehand. i know there’s a joke or ten in there but i’m too lazy to find it honestly.

i’m with you entirely; i loathe drumsticks. i don’t understand how they are enjoyable, what with the gristly tendons and tiny connector bone and the tendency to get overdone and chewy on the bulbous end...nope. even when they put drums down to 59 cents a pound at my local grocery, i only use them for stock.

it’s decidedly meh for me. in general i’m just not a fan of taffy-type candies with the exception of starburst because they’re ridiculously full flavored and a bit softer chewing. but now n laters, hi chew, tootsie rolls and fruit midgees, and the damn saltwater taffy my ex husband used to always grab at the grocery

okay now i’m gonna have to go back and rewatch (re-listen?) bc i knew their harmonies and voices by heart as a youngin’ until i was in my early 20's, so with that in mind imma fire up hulu. i will be annoyed with myself if i didn’t catch that, but then again, i was making dinner at the same time the show was on so i

this was amazing, and i now require more write-ups of gadgets to make me giggle.

hahahah no worries. i was a 15-year old girl when they came around so i was basically primed to choose between them or the boyband craze, and when push came to shove, i preferred dudes (however girly they looked) who wrote their own songs instead of dudes (in their late 20's and early 30's) who wore synchronized

as a hanson fan back in the day (many, many days ago, mind) that def did not sound like them. at all. lol

their dark chocolate-covered orange jelly candies are so good, i will house a whole bag if left unsupervised. i also really love the jalapeno corn puffs because they are super crunchy and nicely spicy without being too much. also, their mini beef tacos are super delightful - with an air fryer it takes just five

....i now feel like i need to check out tasty just to see what *is* going on there because it sounds chaotic and messy and i have time to kill.

ditto on the fries thing - everybody knows fries are delicious, even the dubious (and not so dubious) health experts. when the alternative is just sad veggies, of course people aren’t going to want to order that. people don’t want to order that even when there’s no basis for comparison on a menu, let alone when the

i gotta throw down for mcd’s quarter pounder; that bad boy has been my go-to since i was old enough to bike with my friends into town on weekends so we could hit up the party supply store (for candy!), the sports store (for annoying trading cards!) and the mcd’s before hauling home. it’s nothing amazing, but it’s just

okay i loved the crap out of the rotisserie chicken at subway, though i never tried it in wrap form - i was pretty sad when they discontinued it. it was the closest thing to actual meat on their menu, of course they had to get rid of it.

i’ve been trying to work out what i want for lunch, and this has made me realize i need to break out a packet of shin ramyun from the back of my pantry and throw some kimchi and a poached egg in there.

i tried the buldak 2x spicy a couple of months ago, and yeah, i wasn’t expecting it to actually be as spicy as it was for a mass-marketed product.

yegods, i miss H mart. i’ve got a decent-ish asian supermarket where i live but it’s nothing like the glory that is H mart.

just when i thought i couldn’t adore her more, she comes through in the clutch with the best response of all.

same with mine - they’ve come around to a lot of veggies because my mom is a pretty excellent cook, but they both harbor things from childhood of 50's and 60's canned and boiled veg that they refuse to touch fresh. my mother will not step towards a green bean, and my dad refuses to eat anything with beets, even though
