Dunno how much patience you have, but how about going chronologically? It's neat to watch the gameplay, the underlying technology, and the narrative boundaries evolve, and see the weird places this series is willing to go. Also, I can't think of a mainline Legend of Zelda game not worth playing, give or take a Zelda
