Its a lie, the writer of the article is misrepresenting the reality. these are completely official and theres even gundam models coming out wearing those. Several posts in pending informed him of this but he chose to ignore them.

These are actually officially licensed, and do in fact use the Gundam name and Project Unicorn logo on the shoes.

These actually are official Gundam sneakers. They have the RX-0 logo on them and come with a sheet of Anaheim Electronics and Unicorn Gundam decals that mimics those contained in Gunpla kits.
