I think one of the things folks are missing is that with the exception of Tesla, we are not the auto manufacturers’ customers.

Automakers are deferring all the payments for like 6 months. Don’t worry. Economy is going to come back bigly and all those filers will have new jobs by then. It’s going to be incredible...like a miracle.

I have one just like that. Mine’s a 2007 manual. First time I saw this car, I feel in love with those smooth, clean designs you mentioned.

This is what attracted me to the 8v as well - it’s clean, handsome, and gets the same design language as Audis that cost tens of thousands more, so everyone thinks you’re rich when in reality the car cost me $18k slightly used.

On this note - I bought a 2015/current gen A3 2.0t from Carmax last summer to replace my deer-killed 2008 Legacy GT (RIP).
