Good explanation. I’d love to test drive all of them but nowadays it’s impossible to find something to test drive. I think my local Porsche dealer only has 10 new cars on the lot, and I’m not in a small market.

I was in HK a few times for work and each time I would make sure to request a driver with the Alphard. Those things were so incredibly luxurious and comfortable - I felt like a star driving around. Or, more precisely, a management consultant.

In 5 years on BaT...

Just a few weeks ago a 2007 example was bid up to only $34k on BaT. A similar price seems to get you a 2014 or 2015 model on the site. This is grossly overpriced for probably the worst looking MB hot wagon. 

This is beyond BaT pricing. They must be trying to rip off some idiot that thinks this is the right price for a fast wagon. 

I used to think of myself as a pretty progressive person, but lately the stuff I’ve been reading on here (and other places, of course) has really made me rethink that. 

I injured my foot just watching you do this with flip flops on. Wear more protective shoes in the workshop! You could really injure yourself. 

So I used to fly private occasionally for work (I worked at an energy company and I had to get to really weird locations that would have taken all day on commercial flights), and I definitely appreciated it for that, but for long flights I don’t think I’d want to be on a little Falcon or a Gulfstream crossing the…
