Did Pontiac offer these from the factory? If they did, then THIS is the best decal offered. If not, HUGE error on their part.

I’m so incredibly satisfied my 12 year old Audi that I honestly don’t see myself upgrading to a new car, ever. I thankfully live in a big city and we have a great Metrorail system, and I can walk to get my groceries and go the bar, so I hope this car was my last purchase. With fastidious maintenance it should last…
I’m with you on this - some of the things that are being hawked as services now are apps like interval timers, notebooks, and a flashcard app. Why on earth does an interval timer need to be subscription based? What possible benefit does this bring to the consumer? At least with some services the guise of…
GM said that it wanted to double revenue by 2030, largely through new digital (subscription) services
I suppose - but to me it seems like someone that would keep records for every oil change and maintenance done in the last 20 years would be the type of person that knows what BaT is.
For something so fastidiously maintained and low mileage, I’m wondering why the owner didn’t put this on BaT, especially they have maintenance records going back 20 years. I’m not sure why, but I sense that something might be fishy in this car’s history.
Fair - I should have been more clear. You’re right, there’s a definite gap between performance bikes and actual race bikes, the latter being what I was referring to. And for most people that aren’t doing racing, or race-level cycling, it doesn’t make that much sense to buy a bike that’s worth more than your daily…
Most high end bikes that cyclists in ranked UCI races use are $8k+
$8k for a bike is nothing for some people, and $1/day for food is a fortune for others - I’m not sure what your point is saying “8k for a bicycle is fucking stupid” (I race and spent years saving to buy a Cervelo S5 when I wasn’t as lucky to be well off), but $8k is pocket change for a lot of people, even on this…
Most performance road bicycles cost more than this. $8,000 is a killer deal for a well maintained, relatively rare, soon to be extinct, running performance vehicle in unmodified guise. These were made in small numbers - less than 2000 total, I believe. For a vehicle of this caliber, it’s a great price.
Let me stop you right there before you talk about what a headache old German cars are, or how much of a hassle it’ll be to fix it. This is a legit AMG Merc (before they started diluting the brand with the lower tiered AMGs).
A half acre plot...3 hours outside the city. Definitely nothing left over to put up even a tent.
No Dice.

“Oh dear - honey you’ll need to take a cab home from dinner, seems like I have quite a large painting in...the Jaaaaag”
The little known bonus when buying a Jag is that you’ll never need to pay for dinner again. So, with that in mind, NP.
It’s definitely better “bang for your buck”, but I feel like the C8 has a certain whiff of…boomer…to it. Maybe it’s just that every other generation has a reputation of being driven by midlife crisis over-tanned Floridian insurance agents. While it’s certainly an impressive car, and makes logical sense as a “better”…
This is your moment, Jalops. This is what you’ve been asking for. Buy it new, I have faith in you all. Manual. Analog. Sports car. Reasonably priced. Added lightness. DO IT.
Oh absolutely - my father was an engineer, but worked in one of those big factories alongside lots of guys that didn’t have any formal education, but were able to have a good life with yearly vacations, modest homes, maybe a jet ski or small boat, and could send their kids to VT or JMU without having to take out loans.
