An appearance by Spider-Man in any of these films enhances their chances of box office success. The problem is the studio is assuming a connection in comics alone is enough to draw in Spider-Man fans.

I think it stands the test of time because it is some small scale compared to other comic book movies. Shredder isnt hell bent on gassing anyone but running a gang of thieves. The turtles are just fighting the foot clan and not aliens. Plus the fight choreography still holds up well especially the apartment fight…

Those circles are her glasses, and Donnie’s “ears” are his goggles. The designs for Raph and Donnie are heavily inspired by their designs from the recent live-action movies.

Being a TMNT mega-fan, I could go nuts here, but I’ll say this:

Yep. More and more I think Abrams is a variation on Michael Bay. Not nearly as cringey in character interaction, but just as much a slave to the individual scene to the detriment of the greater whole.

I would never have imagined that I’d be rolling my eyes when the Star Wars fanfare kicks in during the movie’s climax, but that’s exactly what happened.

The effect is impressive.

Bullshit. The Super Mario Bros. movie was great. Incredible, imaginative sets and an unforgettably ridiculous plot with a great cast. It’s at least as good as Goonies.

If that’s a downer, please know that Sonic the Hedgehog is fun. It is not the thing that nerds probably wanted: a reference-packed recreation of their favorite video game plots.

Pet Detective hasn't aged very well IMO, but When Nature Calls is pure gold and no one will ever convince me otherwise. Even if it is, uh, probably pretty racist...
