I’m with you on this. My parents were hippies and I wasn’t really allowed to eat things like cereal with sugar in it or Hostess stuff or Kraft Mac n Cheese. So when I went off to college, I had a solid 6 month binge of all the stuff my friends raved about. I was really disappointed.

How can boring, tasteless, showy dresses appeal to anyone?

This is just so profoundly weird.

Does anyone remember Ministry’s 1988 album Land of Rape and Honey?

YES. I’m so proud of you.

Also true science fact, it’s a real cherry up there. You can just get it back by joining a church and praying real hard and eating cherry pits. A lot.

I like a respectful disagreeing comment, thank you! :)

I think Spurlock did start a kind of national conversation about fast food that we weren’t really having at that time. And I do think there were people who didn’t really think about what eating that food every day would do. Was it sensationalized and overwrought? Yeah, but that was the point.

Maybe that’s for the best...that late in the day and it’ll just keep you up all night.

I think by the time I emailed support they were already aware of it and working on it, if I remember correctly. It just was...not a good feeling. I fully expected to be inundated with creepy emails but that didn’t happen, thankfully!
