I've spent my entire adult life being freezing at night. The last 15 years have been spent needing to put my icicles feet on my husband's thighs to keep warm, even in summer.

They actually had a lot of hardship in their lives, but their love for one another was a thing of beauty, that's for sure.

"Musicians."

Nor should it. Ever.

My in-laws were married since they were teenagers and my husband was a...um...surprise later in life. When my MIL died, her husband died a week later.

I kinda love this rant.

I agree in theory, but I also know that truly older people often have a zest for life that is not understood by people who are young and able-bodied.

If you're happier than you are unhappy and it's easy to get up in the morning and look forward to each day, hell yeah!

I feel like this sentiment that our world is toxic often goes hand in hand with obsessively eating certain foods without thought to what that might actually be doing to the body.

I'm so glad to hear that you have the support of your family and they're so close by. That's really great!

I'm so sorry.

In the unretouched photo, her face looks a lot like Ellen Barkin.

Mmmmm. Cookies......

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Its' never a good time to have this kind of stress, but particularly when you're pregnant. :(

A very long handled brush (you can even use a brand new toilet brush dedicated just for this purpose) and use a water bottle with a squirt top to rinse it off if the shower stream itself isn't high enough or is too awkward to use for that.

Painful anniversaries are...well, painful! And when they come at a time when everyone else seems to be having a good time and celebrating basically happiness, it's definitely compounded.

No, no you didn't. I just didn't know which you meant.

Foot or ring? Or BOTH?

Ack, that sounds awful. My arm hurts reading your story.
