I feel like I’m in a bit of a GroundHog’s Day loop. Same shit just a different day. After almost a year of us being home pretty much 24/7 tho I guess it’s expected. Anyone else getting down like this ? Don’t get me wrong, I’m very grateful we’ve managed to keep day to day life as normal as possible despite everything.

Love this so much. Not enough stars !!!

Fact.

Aw. Awesome ;-) They truly are.

She needs to see penguins again !!! We used visit regularly and we miss them so. I suspect if this big aquarium trip goes well we will visit our little local one with our waddling friends.

I have some ideas in my head already for fish and streamers and I waves. My step mom is going to bake her an aquarium cake with blue jello on top as water. I’m actually excited for the whole thing as I like the intimacy of this after a year long seclusion. I grew up going to all kinds of museums and I truly think it

It truly sucks. It’s been a long lonely year. Happy early birthday to your mom tho. I think that sounds like a lovely idea. I think we are just trying to get through this the best we can and find some way to safely connect. As for our aquarium idea. I do think it’s rather nice that we will be making some fun memories

Are we related ?!? Just add the Disney channel and I’d say you summed up my childhood. But I will say PBS gave me my love of weird, odd and quirky TV shows from the UK.

That’s been our thinking actually. And really it’s the only thing the tiny human has asked for since this all started. It would just be the 5 of us. I figured if it went well, we’d try to do something similar with other family at the local one.

Same !!! I had very limited TV as well until I was older. Very few shows I was allowed to see when I actually could have TV time. Oddly as a teenager they could care less what I watched

Worries for another day ... actually not sure if you have access but all of the old episodes are now available to stream on the Apple TV platform. It’s basically the only thing we watch on there.

Aw. Such a cutie. Love that you’ve found a fur baby to love. They do fill our hearts with ways we never expected

Ug. That sounds absolutely miserable. I’d rather visit the dentist than do that.

Good luck and I’d be a bit emotional good or bad after spending 20 years somewhere. Hopefully (as it sounds like) it’s on to better things.

As always I have bread/baking envy. I had so many left overs from Sunday’s birthday dinner that I didn’t cook much BUT I did make a lovely breaded pork chop with a nice brown mushroom gravy and egg noodles to accompany it. Hearty but so delicious

Yes !!! We watched last night after dinner and it was so awesome to watch. The Muppet Show & Fraggle Rock were my favorite shows at the same age our tiny human is now so it’s been exciting to share.

Still wrapping my head around it, but we just registered tiny human into Pre K for this fall ! Not quite sure what fall will look like with Covid but we don’t want her to miss out on preschool completely. She hasn’t really interacted with any other children this whole year her age. So we think it’s a good idea with a

Tomorrow is my 40th ish birthday. Not quite feeling fabulous but proud I’ve been sticking to getting in shape the past 5 weeks. The weight isn’t quite coming off yet BUT I feel more toned and shapely. Plus things are starting to fit better. So once this birthday weekend is over I’m moving on to the next stage of

Awesome. Our Labrador hasn’t wanted to come inside as we got just enough snow here to get a fun romp with her & our tiny human

Too much ? LOL I am also making bastard chicken soup today where I use Lipton soup mix with fresh veggies and some diced left over chicken from dinner. Tiny human wants soup for lunch after we play in the snow today sooooo kinda not so instant soup it is
