I hear you on the desserts. I usually have a mid day cup of tea and a “biscuit” on the side. That’s been the key to my sanity these past 9 months. Your mom btw sounds absolutely awesome and I have a similar experience with books. Once I started reading pretty much anything I could get my hands on, my mom just kinda

Aw. Such a sweet looking mush. Love that beautiful brindle coat. Glad to hear that things are getting better now with a routine. This is Our 3 legged girl who has the heaviest head and sweetest disposition. She was a bit of a handful as a pup so much so that she ate a wall ! BUT we love her and she’s the best thing

I think it’s the book smell. We actually just got a few books that we were the very first people to read them from the library. I was a little giddy from it lol

Yeah that timing is key. I craved PB&Apricot Jam sandwiches while pregnant with the tiny human and they usually sat in my lunch bag 4+ hours

Big day for the tiny human. We got her her very own library card! I adore how much joy it brought her. The library has truly become one of our happy places. Tho with books being quarantined for a week before they are checked in, we have been hitting our take out limits on my card. So now we can get sooooo many more

Ah. Yum. Peanut butter ( gotta be crunchy) and honey sandwiches remind me of my childhood

TY and the same to you

TY. He’s really creative and a lot of these are made from wine and champagne corks

He is truly talented. And TY about the tiny human. I’ve always been a very hands on parent BUT at the start of all this craziness my husband and I decided we would do our very best to keep her day to day normal and consistent. And I truly love being the one to show her all these wonderful things.

Same on the still acting like lock is happening. It’s weird seeing people who are acting like there isn’t a pandemic going on. The tiny human’s big out every week is the local library and MAYBE the market for fresh stuff that doesn’t get delivered

Crap ! I’m sorry. Sounds terrible especially with everything going on. I hope you have things to keep you occupied and distracted but hopefully at least some sunny skies and good coffee will come your way.

I finished our Christmas shopping for the tiny human and ordered photos and albums for the parents and a book on local history for my husband. Nothing crazy but now that’s done, we can start working on our homemade gifts. One of the things I’m going to do is cinnamon dough ornaments for everyone this year that should

The weather has started to not be so nice. So we are definitely spending more time inside. I’m so glad I decided to do this home preschool program with the tiny human. This latest set of 20 lessons focuses on the Rainforest. And honestly I’m not sure who looks forward to school days more, me or her. But I was also

Love him

As the parent of a 3YO tiny human who talks my ears off, I concur. She might be completely understandable ( to us & most others ) BUT definitely doesn’t understand how to speak properly yet ( tense etc )

YES !!! She LOVED it. We’ve watched multiple times. Did you see the one a few months back where they let the penguins waddle around the aquarium? We love that one too.

I needed this. Made my morning so far. TY. The tiny human and I share an obsession for penguins. Will be showing her when she wakes up :-)

Absolutely. It’s pretty much I cook chicken over Turkey any day.  There is always that in between not so good smell

Who knows ? I had the tiny human almost 4 years ago and there are certain smells I still can’t stand that made me ill while pregnant. Mainly eggs but I literally can only cook myself boiled eggs now as there is no cooking smell. BUT I’ll eat scrambled eggs etc if my husband makes them. IDK but I’m all weird

Funny you say that. Mine too. I make a jam like one every year that the family adores so much so that I have to usually bring jars of it to the holiday dinner. This year I made one bag worth ( so odd ) and will use it for toast and roasted chicken until it’s gone. It’s mostly sugar & spices but so very yummy.
