Friday I dropped the tiny human off at my parents house for a sleepover. It may be her last one tho there. My dad is getting the 110+ year old farmhouse ready to sell. Which means he needs to clean out the barn. A barn stuffed with many of my mom’s things who died many years ago. When she was alive tho, she collected

Ug. I feel you. I used to work at a supermarket and The general public was the worst. They were assholes than so I imagine it is way worse with all the pandemic insanity

Damn it. You beat me to it.

Adore being on the water especially due to where we live. Have never gone a cruise myself tho. We had planned this past year as 10 year wedding anniversary to go on one. 2020 had other plans. BUT I doubt we will actually rebook it when things (someday) become safe. I just don’t think I’ll ever feel comfortable on one

Congratulations. I’m sure it was a terribly hard decision to make since NZ sounds amazing. Stability in this troubled times is hard to come by. So I don’t really blame you. BTW beautiful photos

I feel that way about my husband’s family :-/ Thanksgiving is our holiday with them. They adore my daughter but want nothing to do with helping in any way at all. The first two holidays with them after my daughter were born, were very isolating. Last year was better but still didnt make up for the previous years. It

Yes !!!

Totally get the uncomfortable vibes too with the whole thing. It’s such a strange time even with trying to do the safest thing. We see my parents about every 2 ish weeks and let the tiny human sleep over there about once a month. We’ve all really limited our social bubble to about 10 people since March. It’s hard but

TY ! We did actually. So in the end it all works out with a newer Subaru and lower car payment

TY so very much. Also I really enjoy selecting photos for SNS

That sounds like a perfect day :-) I’ll probably do the same as it’s just us 3. And yes I hate wasting food too. So I usually do a soup. BUT We did some yummy thanksgiving egg rolls last year tho that we’re a definite win. And lastly TY for your kind words. Definitely was a scary experience but I am so very grateful

Gah. Yeah I’d be a bit freaked too. I wish you safe travels in the coming week.

TY and yes the speed factor was terribly terrifying. That sounds lovely tho for a meal. Seafood always is a favorite here. My husbands family is not very traditional and don’t really cook. Soooo most thanksgiving we have a hodgepodge of things but our favorite is a curried shrimp my husband makes us.

OMG !!!! Ooooooooo I am supremely jealous. I just finished reading a fabulous book by Ballard and deep sea exploration. The history of Alvin is so very interesting

Yay for the successful move except for your Houdini kitty. So glad to read you guys are settling in

Thank you for what you do. That takes a lot of guts despite all the protection and precautions you take.

I agree. Little steps. My sleeping hasn’t been so great lately but I saw a friend today and I think it helped to just talk out loud about the whole thing. And 3 is really the perfect number in our case.

TY very much

Sometimes those are the best holidays. We skipped Thanksgiving one year and it was glorious just the two of us as newlyweds

Those onions sound divine
