Definitely no fun. I feel like with modern appliances that 8 years is a good run but still ( shakes fist at 2020 ). We have replaced our dishwasher recently too as it caught fire !!! Luckily we were home & awake when it happened bc it could have been sooooo much worse.

I know what you mean. It has been huge that we can visit the library again. We actually signed up for a virtual kids class. I’m pretty excited to do it with the kid.

I think we are all wearing our emotions on our sleeves. My tiny human saw our local children’s department librarian for the 1st time in more than 6 months. She was so excited that she was literally jumping for joy. And it totally made me cry

Ouch. And I know exactly what you mean on vet bills. We have a 3 legged wonder dog that survived cancer two years back. Worth every dime to save her life. Also Honda’s & Toyota’s last forever and sounds like you made a wise choice from someone who’s husband is in the car industry

Aw. TY and we love Madeline. We have the first book so I was very excited to see this particular one with all the stories. Glad it brought up some beautiful memories.

My condolences to you and your family. Your grandmother definitely sounds like a pretty amazing individual.

Also I literally was just talking to my brother about our mom making huge batches of fried chicken ... one of the very few things she could cook well when we were young. So much so that there were many times my Dad would arrive home to happily sigh and say “I can smell your dad’s been here”

September always brings every type of weather here & I made a rookie homeschool mistake. Tuesday was the first day of local summer BUT I decided to do school. It was our last bit of sunshine until this morning. Except we woke up to fall weather temperatures. It’s also been an expensive week too. My husband had a

Ah yes on DW. hence much name :-) but I’m definitely going to check out Luther. I’ve been meaning to see Life on Mars too

I’ve been meaning to watch that ... some day. Just soooo many episodes. But guest stars truly do make a show especially in rewatching years later

Hmmmm any favorites ? I grew up with a lot of British murder mystery stuff on as a kid but I didn’t really pay attention to much other than when Dr Who was on

I enjoyed it but it’s a lot to commit to at over 300+ episodes... and those last 3-5 seasons at times I had to slog through but I’m glad I finally saw the whole story arc. Plus like St Elsewhere, the cast and guest stars really do make the show and pull at your heartstrings. A certain Valentines Day Ep from ER always

Ah yes ... mint is rather soothing on the stomach. I drink mint tea sometimes

Ug with the prednisone. It works wonders when needed but the side effects are brutal. I’ve been on high doses of the stuff for long periods of time and I always feel like the energizer bunny.  Hope you get better soon and stay safe in all this craziness. And love love whatever flavor ice cream that may be ( pistachio

I spy with my little eye the very same utensil orders I have !

Oh that sounds delish. I love beets as any good Ukrainian would. Oddly my tiny human does NOT like perogies which doesn’t seem possible due to genetics ;-/ I often make a cucumber & dill pickled salad in the summertime.

You always have the kindest words. TY. My patience has definitely been tested and it’s been a week of many firsts between school and us dismantling the tiny human’s crib. But that is life and it is so amazing to see that tiny human doesn’t seem so very tiny any more.

I see your point ! And I have not actually. I will have to check that out. TY

Ug. Sugar overload
