We decided to put off our tiny human starting preschool this fall. It’s a difficult decision to make but we’d rather not take the risk att.

Fresh made pesto is soooo delicious ... I was only able to get purple basil this year sooooo it’s going to taste the same but be a bit crazy looking 

Truly. And I know I am very lucky on how I was raised. I grew up with incredibly brilliant yet kind and caring parents who really nurtured my creativity and love of books. I have always wanted to pass that gift on to my child.

I really like the idea of the over-the-railings planters. Plus nothing better than having some fresh herbs at hand when cooking. 

TY! My tiny human is the kinda high energy kid that is go go go pretty much all the time. So we try to be as hands on as possible which in turn keeps us very busy. We sleep very well at night tho. Growing up my mom used to make this dessert dip for parties ... it consisted of a can of crushed pineapple, a jar of fluff, and a bar of cream cheese all whipped together and you dipped fresh fruit into it. That and ambrosia salad, you know the one with little marshmallows in it ?

The park is our happy place. I just wish I felt comfortable enough to let the tiny human play on the playground. And yes the STEAM boxes seem very promising and worth the price IMO.

I always feel like gardening is one giant experiment and it’s soooo frustrating to loose stuff to the animals but damn those chipmunks of mine are really cute that I can’t stay too mad too long. Although strawberries would have been nice this but they feasted on them too. 

Oh we have sooooo many lol but you are right they do keep them occupied ... that and these magnetic tiles we have. She’ll play with those for ages too

Good idea ... we’ve been playing I Spy and short little scavenger hunts sooo those would be good actually

40 here with a 3YO and when this all began there were so many times I thought this. It’s been a Roller coaster of emotions here at times. And obviously my biggest worry has been fear of what happens to my daughter if both my husband and I get really sick or worse.  

I think beaches are a tricky thing. You need to go at times when it quiet. We live nearby to one and have decided to go mid week in the early morning.
