The Get Down can be a mess sometimes but it's so inspired, ambitious and passionate that it's one of my favorite shows on TV at the moment, even above ones that are probably much better than it. I think it's because of huge budget cuts after how Part I went. This becomes clearer in the later episodes. Either way, yeah, I could really really do without them.
