I....don't think this is true. Sadly.

Sorry, but the Garda are one of the most systematically and individually corrupt police forces of any nation, place or time.
But crimes of an individuated nature are reported on every day on Gawker. Not seeing the logic, here.
Given Solo's history with her family and her prior contact with law enforcement and investigations of domestic violence, I'm thinking it's a very real possibility that this kid felt he and his mom could have been in danger.
I am so, so sorry about your mom.
I think they did the tests out of due diligence, more likely. This is not at all unfair to the doctors who treated (or rather didn't treat) this woman.
I'm not lousy at sarcasm.
Wow. This seems....dangerous. Electrical pulses near the vagus nerve might be okay in a perfect scenario but there are very serious side effects that could easily result from this. Not the least of which being vagus nerve dysfunction, which could be a chronic thing once the nerve becomes irritated.
Well good for you. It's all solved then.
Just curious....is it possible for you to discuss ANY topic without turning it into a myopic rant that is completely lacking in any intellectual or theoretical value other than being the (very reliable!) definition of of self-focused bullshit?
This is exactly what I was thinking.
I had a little young sparrow fly into my kitchen last week. After an initial 10 minute freak out (birdie, not me) in which the poor wee thing exhausted itself, I actually grabbed a Swiffer* and held it up to him.
There's a huge difference between distorting a headline and claiming someone wasn't raped "the right way" or not understanding things like why a woman would still have contact with her rapist - something that certainly happens but should never complicate the definition or realness of her rape.
But....AA is the house that Dov built, so to speak. It's a company that he started. And the people who have decided to suspend (not fire, btw, suspend) Charney continually ignored predatory, unethical and sexist behavior that bordered on violent for the better part of a decade.
Uhh...nope, I didn't. Juicy Couture was not a very high end brand, it never has been. It was more expensive than stores like Gap and Old Navy.
And their french PEDICURES. That's where we sort the simply tasteless from the crass.
Rich people? Juicy was never high end enough for the tasteless rich.
Have you seen any candid footage of this child and her mother over the past few years? It's been painfully clear for a while that this kid is in trouble.
An eight year old with proper parenting would know it's not okay to hit other people.
British humor. Often sarcastic, nearly always misunderstood.
